I bought the stainless first then had to have the black one. These little things are awesome. Super accurate and I can feel the quality when I use them. Buds as usual was great to deal with. Everything went smooth and I received updates as they were processed. I’m kind of surprised I never paid attention to these sooner. I’m really liking my “salt & pepper”!!!

Bought this pistol just lately. Not worth the money. Regret buying it almost immediately. Misfiring on the double action trigger pull. Save your money. This gun is more a novelty than anything else.

I have the stainless steel version, it has always been perfect, I bought this black version because I like these guns, well: it shoots as well as the other one, they are extremely accurate, at first they are very tight, but with use they loosen up, Walther is a great brand, Buds as always great

Overall I like this pistol. It's solid being all metal and having said that I expected the cost to be higher due to increased machining. My only complaint is the flip safety seems rough and could be smoothed out. It's not easy to flip it with the thumb like a similar Italian made pistol that I have. My only reason for 4 stars is the rough safety lever.

The Walther PPKS is one of the best guns for concealed carry. It has a safety that also de cocks the hammer, and a good double action trigger for the first shot. So, this gun cannot accidentally discharge in concealed carry. And the trigger is good for double action, and is as smooth as silk for the single action. If you don't like double action, you can always cock it and do everything single action. It is a great design for an everyday carry gun.
I like the PPKS version over the PPK as it has a 7 round magazine instead of 6 rounds. Seven plus one in the chamber is plenty. Plus the PPKS has a little larger grip, and fits my hand perfectly.
The Walther PPKS is extremely accurate as the barrel is attached to the frame. I have never seen a gun designed like this. The quality of the workmanship could not be better. It is very easy to take apart and clean, you just pull down on the trigger guard and pull the slide back off the rails to clean the gun.
The "James Bond" part of this gun is just a fantasy, but the reason it was picked for the movies is based on the history and superior design of this gun - a design that goes back to 1929. There is a lot of history behind this design. I had to have it.
So here are some issues I had with the Walther PPKS when it arrived. Finding .380 ammo is nearly impossible right now, so I started with some remanufactured "flat nose" ammo, which jammed repeatedly. The spring inside the gun was extremely stiff, and it just would not cycle correctly. First, I took the gun apart and polished up the feed ramp. Then I lubricated the gun with Ballistol - as the gun was not completely lubricated from the factory as well as I thought it needed to be. But it was the very stiff spring that I think was a problem. I put an empty magazine in the gun and left it with the spring compressed for an hour or so, and the spring started to loosen up. Then I took the spring out and worked the slide back and forth 100 times to loosen up the rails. The Ballistol coated the rails with a protective layer. Finally, I switched over to PMC Bronze FMJ round nose ammo, which made a lot of difference. The gun works perfectly now. It is a very "tight" and well made machine, and just needs a little break end period. I love it.
And Bud's put the gun in the mail the day after I purchased, with good service as always. I highly recommend Buds and the Walther PPK.

Very fine weapon. Well made. Tight at the moment since it is brand new. The serrations on the slide are sharp and are easy to grip. The extra length magazine just fits my hand and I was surprised that the "grip fit" is perfect. The trigger is light even in double action mode. It's much lighter than my CZ double action 9mm. One of the reasons I purchased this weapon is the size. I am not as slim and trim as I used to be so it is difficult carry concealed. I am confident I can carry it even in the summer. Very pleased with my choice in these trying and uncertain times.

I was not sure if I would like the black finish over a blued finish but once you open the case, it looks amazing. Very classy. 100% Walther made (slide made in Germany, the frame in Fort Smith, USA), no "under the license of" on the slide. Its the true James Bond gun. I hope they make a 32 ACP version in the future.
Buds, great service as always, received in 1 week. Fast shipping.

With the Pandemic, and so many new gun buyers, guns are getting hard to find. So when I saw this pistol for sale at Bud's, I jumped on it!!!! It was the first time buying from Bud's and the way they sell gun's was a breeze! I had no problems with the purchase or the FFL dealer I choose. Gun came on time, Bud's kept me up-to-date on shipping, and it was boxed fantastic so there were no scratches on the case. The pistol has performed flawlessly and has about 250 rounds through it already!!! The gun was in perfect shape and there were no fingerprints on it like it had been in a showcase being handled. This is my second Walther PPK/S in 380 from the new factory in AK, USA. I am so glad they are making Walthers in the US now. I just wish it would come with nice wooden grips!!

A:The PPK and PPK/s slides are manufactured by Carl Walther GmbH in Ulm, Germany, where the original PP series was produced. The frame and internal components are made in the United States and assembled at Walther's facility in Fort Smith, Arkansas.See 2 more answers | -

A:James, S = Sport. The Walther PPK/S is based on the 1968 sport design which has been immortalized on the silver screen as the preferred side arm of 007 agent James Bond. The PPK/S established a defining influence on the design of modern concealed carry firearms. This particular model features a double/single action trigger system with a 13.4lb DA trigger pull and an SA pull of 6.lbs. The PPK/S also features fixed front and rear sights, slide serrations which provide you with a non slip surface in which to operate the slide, and checkered panel grips. The beavertail Extension improves shooting comfort and stability. A manual safety is a standard feature along with internal slide stop and magazine release. The Walther PPK/S places a solid feel of reliable in the palm of your hands and carries with it a level of sophistication that other pistols are envious of.See 3 more answers | -
