Through no fault of buds. Mine had misaligned scope mounts had to send it back to remington. Only to get it back and shoot it. It would key hole at 100 yards with any ammo. Sent it back AGAIN got it back and sold it.

Very happy with the rifle, although I haven't fired it yet (still setting it up). As another reviewer pointed out, the rifle has a 5-R barrel. This is good news because the 5-R barrel is noted for its accuracy. We'll see how good it is when we first shoot. I like the stock for its feel although it does flex at the end with a bipod attached. This Hogue stock is only "pillar" bedded, and that's what allows it to flex. Too bad because they also make a fully bedded stock that's rigid (I guess that's how they cut costs). May need to replace it at some point.

I have not got a chance to mount a scope and/or test-fire this rifle yet. But it came with a surprise. Other than being the typical condition that you would expect when looking at the barrel stamping it has "5R." I am not sure if I got the wrong rifle, but the 5R is a definitely welcomed surprise. The only thing negative that I would have about this rifle is the stock, but that is a minor thing as I plan to swap out the stock anyway. Definitely happy that Buds still had these. I will definitely miss being able to buy more of the 700 as the current stock dwindles.

This rifle was a great value when I purchased it. Threaded barrel and adjustable trigger are the two stand out features on this gun. Trigger is crisp and light after adjusting it. The factory coating on the metal parts is adequate, but does not seem to protect it quite as well if you use it hard or in harsh conditions. Overall, I would say that I would recommend it to anyone looking for a sweet shooting little 6.5.

Tack driver. The houge overmold stock has a lot of flex in the forend. But that's my only gripe. Action is buttery smooth. I use it for a bench gun. Easy shoot 500 yards with great accuracy. Would recommend and I would like another

Great rifle for the money. The stock is flimsy and flexible so id recomend looking into a KRG bravo or something aftermarket to replace it with. Besides that Ive hit out to 800 yards out of the box so not to bad

I am impressed with this offering from Remington. The 22 inch heavy barrel provides heft but is still maneuverable enough to use for hunting. The stock is a noticeable improvement from the factory SPS stock, and yes, it is free floated. I also appreciate the steel drop plate and trigger guard which provides additional rigidity compared to the plastic guards on the ADL. Overall, you get a time tested and field proven 700 action with an adjustable trigger, pillar bedded stock, and free floated heavy barrel with a threaded muzzle! Lastly, a trip to the range sighting the rifle in with winchester white box 125 grain target ammo produced several MOA groups and I expect that this rife will be a consistent 1/2 inch producer with hand loads.

Another amazing purchase from buds! Put a VGS muzzle device on it and can get a 1/4 in grouping at 100yds on first time to the range. I love this rifle and buds for their amazing service and products!
