I purchased the Charter Undercover Lite 38 special in the Shamrock color, I thought. Being a sentimental Irishman myself, l choose the gun because of the Shamrock color. When l went to pick it up, l was in shock. The color was so far off, l thought it was a joke... But it wasn't. I love Bud's it's my favorite gun store as evidenced by my past purchases. Besides the ridiculous color, the gun is a gem. Well made, nice trigger, a very well made weapon, including good workmanship However, whoever took that picture of the Shamrock should seek employment elsewhere. Never has a color been so off. I read the caption that says basically, the color could be off a little from the picture. Well guess what, this color was from another universe. I kept the gun as it was my first Charter revolver and as stated, it's a good solid gun and I'm not a return kind of guy. So if you are purchasing the gun for the Shamrock color forget about it and move on. I would give the gun itself 5 stars, but as to the reality of the color, l would give it a zero, so I'm torn how to rate this transaction fairly. It's not on Bud's, it's not the gun's performance either, it's the color, my original reason for the purchase. I blame the photographer or whoever had anything to do with the real color Shamrock.

wife loves the color and weight

Ordered on a Thursday had the gun at my local FFL by Monday afternoon. Took gun to range on Saturday shot 50 rounds and not a single problem .Great revolver and the service from Buds was excellent. This was my sixth purchase from buds. I will be putting n another order very soon.
