Plan to purchase for home defense and would like to train my wife to use the Supernova, has anyone tried to use 1 3/4 shells in this gun?

Great quality firearm. I've had this for about a month now and had her at the range twice. I've put 80 2, 2-3/4, and 3 inch mixed velocity rounds through it with no problems. Performance is good and so much fun to use. Fantastic option for hunting, home defense and sport shooting. If you want a Benelli and don't want to spend a lot on a semiautomatic this is the answer.

I received the gun within 2 days of ordering. The pistol grip and stock combo are very stable and comfortable. I added a 2 magazine extension to enhance capacity. The price was about $200.00 cheaper on Bud's than in the local gun shops. The gun shoots well and the sights are nice for shooting slugs. Bud's typically has the best price, thanks for not gouging.

Awesome shotgun, no complaints. Great finish and solid build. I was worried that with the 3.5 inch shell capability that the pump action would feel long but don't notice it at all. Great overall feel to it!

Fantastic shotgun! It took a good while to get to my FFL thanks to the big freeze of 2021 but it was definitely worth the wait. I have nothing bad to say about it. It will eat anything you feed it and it is a well built, high quality shotgun. The best bang for the buck in my opinion. The gun will handle any 3.5in magnum load you want to feed it however your shoulder will hate you for it. You cant go wrong with a Benelli. Highly recommended.
