What is the outside diameter of the barrel at the barrel muzzle?

Will this fit my Rock Island 1911 officer? The current barrel has a bell on the muzzle. Will this barrel function correctly without it?

Casey, this should be "drop in" in a large percentage of 1911's. No one can say for 100% certainty that it will and even the manufacturer states : Due to variations in pistol dimensions, minor fitting may be required for installation in your 1911.
