Kimber K6s Brushed Stainless 357 Magnum Revolver - Stainless/Silver, 3" Barrel, 6 Rounds, Wood Grips, 3-Dot Sights

MY PURCHASE WITH BUD'S GUN SHOP WHENT FLAWLESS FROM BEGINNING TO END. MY KIMBER ARRIVED AT BASS PRO SHOPS, ROSSFORD, OHIO IN GOOD CONDITION, WITHIN A REASONABLE ABOUNT OF TIME IN TRANSIT. MOST VIDEO'S ABOUT THIS KIMBER MODEL ARE OLD AND OBSOLETE. SOME AT LEASE SIX YEARS OLD. THE STAINLESS FINISH WAS JUST FINE. CLEANED THE BARREL AND CYLINDERS BEFORE USING. A nice gun, with a good trigger pull, and great frame strength for its size. Mine had the commonly-reported problem with extractor function and indexing; I sent it off to Kimber, and they corrected the problem and got it back to me promptly. I put a set of LOK grips on it (Palm Swell Veloce), which are considerably longer than stock and/or Hogue, and vastly improve draw and control. Its far more accurate than the 3 inch barrel and fixed sights support; I'm in the process of combining the rear sight of the Kimber fiber optic set with an RMRcc plate so I can mount a dot, which will make for quite a formidable small revolver at even moderate distances -- my new trail gun.

Great firearm. The quality is unbelievable and very comfortable. I highly recommend.

This was my first Kimber purchase. What a let-down. The cylinder has to be forced out and the trigger doesn't reset all the way. I understand tight tolerances but damn! $900 to be let down. I'm calling Kimber tomorrow and hopefully they take care of this promptly.

Kimber has created a great revolver in this k6s.
When I recieved my gun I was impressed by the feel,weight and looks of the
pistol.
Everything works fine and shoots great. I have only been able to shoot
38 spl so far as ammo is hard to come by.
Recoil is minimal for a small gun.
Also a pleasure to deal with Bud's. I will be back.

The K6s had a lot of scratches in the stainless steel but I spent several hours working them out with fine sandpaper, thus “making” the firearm mine. As far as accuracy and reliability, this is a great shooter and easy to carry. Buds was great.

This is my second purchase of a Kimber 6S 3". I enjoyed the first so much I wanted a second for my other travel residence. It is highly accurate, more so than me, very comfortable in the hand (I have large hands) and that's even with the wood grips and full defensive loads. The first time I took it out I was concerned about the size and recoil mitigation but after the first cylinder full of defensive loads that concern evaporated. I shot 200 rounds of Federal 158 grain the first day with smiles from the outset. Trigger was very smooth yet I could tell when it went into "single action" from double action --> feel. That made shots very controllable and predictable. Fit and finish was exemplary and although it looks like a revolver its design is unique and beautiful enough to be revolver art. The first one was my daily carry and I anticipate the second will fulfill that role at my alternate location. TIP: you can get the 8 round speed strips and space the 2-2-2 with one opening between each pair and you can reload remarkably fast. As usual, Bud's handling of the purchase and shipping was flawless.

I really am impressed with the feel and quality. My S&Ws and Rugers are the classic look, but this gun has a style all its own. Shoots great, feels great. A nice change of pace and extremely suited for carry.

So far, I have enjoyed my gun. Have only used 2 times so far. Will continue to use and enjoy the gun for years to comen.
