Pluses: Beautiful revolver. Comes with pride of ownership. Comfortable grips. Fantastic fit and finish. Smooth trigger. I guess around a 9 pound pull. Shoots smoothly and true. Recoil is mostly a non issue. Small enough for carry. Sizewise between a Smith J and K frame.
Negatives: Small enough to carry, but still a little heavy for my tastes. Great trigger, but has what can be confused as two false resets. Must be sure to let the trigger fully out before another pull. I love the looks and feel of the grips. However the top of the grips jut out a little on each side like two teeth. Its not a problem for me and my grip but if you have a high grip on a revolver this can be a problem.
Overall, I’m very happy. The negatives are mostly preference and wouldn’t keep me away from owning this gun. My biggest adjustment was getting used to the trigger reset while shooting rapidly.

Love it! I've been wanting to add a Colt revolver to my collection and I can't find a new SSA anywhere. Only other option is the Cobra. What a sweet pistol. Smoothest trigger I have ever felt in DA or SA. Very nice. I went with the classic model with the brass bead and wood grips. The Hogue grips make guns look cheap IMO. Buds was easy and quick as usual.

Love my new Colt Cobra. It certainly lives up to the Colt name. It has a great feel in the hand and is fun to shoot!

Everything was flawless other than the stock grips the came with the gun. Ordered a right handed gun that was supposed to come with right handed grips but instead came with left handed grips and the grips were unsymmetrical with eachother therefore I’m gonna have to contact colt hoping they can just send me the right grips instead of sending the whole firearm instead. Inconvenience

As one might expect this revolver being made by Colt is not only well made but attractive to look at. The trigger pull is very light on single fire but very smooth on theouble action. I found the front sight a little harder to pickup so I replaced it with a fiber optic one. Fortunately Colt in their wisdom developed this weapon to be able to easily change this front sight. Brownells carry the fiber optic sights. Recoil is controllable and even fun with lighter loads.
