John, it is about 8lbs with constant tension throughout the pull range. It is supposed to mimic a double action trigger pull for safety against accidental discharges. Cheers and stay safe!

Awesome pistol and the light is a big bonus. Its your typical smith & Wesson good slide with action and decent recoil and easy control. I got the .40 over 9mm because I wanted to get a bit more power but not a sluggish .45.

Shot my first 100 rounds straight out the box with no failures. Cleaned and oiled and now the gun is butter. The light is nice and bright 👍👍👍
