Is the trigger guard polymer or metal? If it is polymer, Why does it cost so much more than the other shockwaves?

Patrick, this Shockwave also has a Polymer Trigger Guard. The increased price difference is because there are way fewer of this model in stock than the others. Buds firearm prices are tied directly to stock levels. This also has the "Stainless Steel Cerakote" Finish.

Maybe a stupid question but i want to hear from the community. Between this and the marinecoat option what is the difference(s)?

The Marinecoat is a finish that binds better with the "Aluminum Receiver" and internal parts for better saltwater protection. Cerakate is good but not quite as effective on the Aluminum Receiver for saltwater environments.

Very solid little firearm. Perfect for home defense in a townhouse, where you don't want to over penetrate your walls and hurt a neighbor, but you do want stopping power, and you want to be able to maneuver around little hallways. I added a laser site and firing from the hip is perfectly accurate at 50 feet, which I would recommend. As reliable as any Mossberg shotgun.

My only slight disappointment was the orange tube canister package was extremely damaged. The shipping boxes were not, so I assume it was a pre-shipping issue (maybe from Mossberg). The firearm appears to be as promised, in new condition... Buds was a pleasure to work with!

Not gonna lie. Pretty sweet shotgun. Doing yourself a disservice if you don't own one. Wish they had a marinecoat version (entire shotgun) for it's more durable coating. Still, this is pretty darn nice. Do you really NEED another gun? Probably not but you will enjoy this new addition. Happy shooting!

This is probably the best home defense shotgun I've ever seen. It holds SIX (5 + 1) 2.75 in 12 Gauge 00 or 000 Buckshot. Great quality, reliable ... just point and shoot in close quarters.
