Rounding out the Vigil series, the CCO variant combines a sub-compact
Officer frame with a compact Commander slide and barrel. Ideal for
concealed carry, it is light as can be while retaining the sight radius
of a Commander model, making it very shootable. Like all of the Vigil
pistols, the Vigil CCO wears a set of cocobolo Shadow grips, a forged
aluminum frame with 25 LPI frontstrap checkering and a round-top slide
with a tactical sight in the rear and a tritium night sight in the
front.

This is literally my favorite firearm now. I followed the 50 rounds, clean for the first 500 rounds routine and I have not had a single malfunction. The only issue I have had so far is witht he grip safety. For the first 150 rounds it would squeak. This issue self resolved though.

Fantastic fit and finish! All the hype about Dan Wesson firearms is true. Frame to slide fit is perfect as well as barrel fit and barrel to bushing fit. I only have 500 rounds through the pistol so far but it has performed flawlessly without malfunction. Trigger is very light and has a clean break around 3.5 pds. The reset is very short and there is almost no pre travel. Gun has minimal recoil and is extremely accurate. Shoots very flat. I think the vigil models are probably some of the best 1911s you can buy at that price point. I’ve owned several 1911s over the years and I’d be hard pressed not to make my next one another Dan Wesson as well. I highly recommend the vigil, you won’t be disappointed.
