Sig's MPX redefines the submachine gun category with a new level of operator safety, in-field adaptability and proven reliability in the harshest environments.
The MPX K AR pistol has an unconventional design, unmatched performance, and familiar AR handling. It is completely ambidextrous, a with dual-sided selector switch, magazine release, charging handle and bolt release. The SIG MPX operates from a fully-closed and locked rotating bolt and a short-stroke gas piston. A full-length picatinny rail allows for solid, consistent mounting of optics and targeting lasers.
This model has a 4.5" threaded barrel, hard coat anodized FDE metal finish, and a short aluminum KeyMod handguard with handstop.

Hands down the best semi auto PDW available. Has become my favorite range toy and number 1 weapon used for teaching new shooters. You can feed this anything. I shot at least 1000 rounds without leaning and not a single jam. There are reviews on the web about shooting this suppressed. I have a suppressor on the way and will update you all in about 9 months! As always, Bud’s is the best!

SIG’s design this as a MP5 replacement. It’s works well, M16/AR feel, modular replacement, different barrel lengths, maybe calibers.
You can not purchase a SIG Retractable brace from SIG any longer, only a side folder.
I also purchased a SIG RATTLER, in 300BO, with a SIG Retractable stock.
Thinking this would as good only in 9mm, was disappointing. It handles well, shoots fine, but is in a different league from it’s bigger brother. The Rattler, in 300BO can also be converted to 5.56mm. A better choice unless, you run a 9mm suppressed, that this is your only option as I see it over an MP5. .

It's price is high for a carbine 9mm but once you shoot it the reasons speak for themselves. Sig makes great guns and the all metal construction with quality parts you are paying for. It's really fun to shoot and accurate. It should come with sights but doesnt. A red dot makes it better for newer shooters
