TulAmmo's .308 is cheap and relatively consistent. I've shot about 80 rounds through my Howa 1500 Gameking, and compared to Winchester Super X (which I used to sight my rifle), I have seen about an inch of spread (which is likely me and not the ammo) and an inch and one-half drop at 100 yards. I don't have the tools to measure velocities, but the drop likely means a slower projectile. So, it may not be ideal if you want to take longer shots, but at more than half the cost of the Winchester, I'd say it is worth it. It is something I can take out new/inexperienced shooters and let them burn with out feeling it so hard in the budget. If I sighted for the drop, I would be comfortable using it to hunt deer. The only other thing I can think to include is that I have yet to experience a primer failure.
