Made in the USA, the Magpul Hunter X-22 chassis is an ergonomic, full-featured stock for the ubiquitous Ruger 10/22 rifle. Made from high quality reinforced polymer, the Hunter X-22 features an ergonomic grip, adjustable length of pull and comb height to fit a wide variety of shooters, multiple sling mounting options, a non-slip rubber butt-pad, and M-LOK slots for accessory attachment. The Hunter X-22 fits standard Ruger 10/22 .22 LR pattern rifles with no gunsmithing, and a reversible barrel tray ensures proper fit with factory pencil profile as well as heavy bull barrels. The Hunter X-22 is also compatible with the Thompson Center T/CR22. This item is for the stock only and aforementioned, and does not include additional accessories.

Love this stock! The factory wood stock on a Ruger 10/22 is good enough, but it never felt “just right.” The Magpul stock seems to fit me just right, and the fit of stock to rifle is perfect. Very easy to swap stocks if you have ever stripped your rifle down for cleaning it’s a breeze, and if you’ve never disassembled your rifle, there’s several good videos out there to help. I imagine that the 10/22 is one of the most modified .22 caliber rifles out there, and a good stock like this one is a great place to start. It has a utilitarian design and doesn’t go overboard on tactical cosmology. A .22 has many uses, and the Magpul helps accomplish them. Buds delivered promptly and without a hitch!

This stock is the best solution to multiple problems i have getting a rifle to fit me. The extra 2 1/2 inches of stock extension gives me the right length of pull. The availability of interchangeable cheek pieces let me customize the fit that maximizes my accuracy. This stock is super simple to attach and customize.

Bought the X22 stock because it looks cool, and Magpul products are normally top notch. I love this stock, I would give it 5 stars except for the fact that I think Magpul should have reinforced the mlok slots with metal. If you don't screw the nuts down to where it barely fits BEFORE you insert them into the mlok slots, it is way too easy to strip the slots out! I finally got it where I wanted it, but it took a lot of finagling after I stripped out the bottom half of the slot. Be warned! Other than that, awesome stock! 4 stars

So far, this is an outstanding upgrade from the stock synthetic 10/22 stock. I purchased 2 of these, one for a stock barrel with open sights, and another for the addition of a bull barrel to a second 10/22. This is a great stock that allows for the adjustment of the length of pull to a specific individual, and a changeable barrel channel, snug receiver mounting, and a barrel pressure adjustment to adjust the pressure on the end of the barrel if needed.
