Ruger SP101 Wiley Clapp Talo 357 Magnum Revolver - 2.25" Barrel, 5 Rounds

Love this gun! It's built like an absolute tank. Smooth shooter but will pound your hands at the range. It's just a great revolver and perfect for the nightstand. Everyone needs a good revolver so do yourself a favor and get this one.

I have read a lot about this gun and looked forward to receiving it. The gun came and was a beautiful example of a snub nose revolver. I own another Rugef revolver and this gun fully met my expectations. I read that the trigger came from the factory with a hefty pull. I measured 11 1/2 lbs. I did a full trigger job including springs, polishing, and spacers and now have a great EDC.

Can`t go wrong with this gun if you`re looking for stub nose revolver. Recoil is very manageable, even with 357 magnum loads. The trigger isn`t too bad either, it definitely gets better with use.

This was the first time I've ordered a firearm online. Bud's Gun Shop and my local receiving dealer made this deal very easy. My new SP101 revolver was in my hands within 5 days of placing the order. Weapon needs some work. As many Ruger products they definitely cut corners. On the SP101’s you will find many sharp edges. You will need to get some 400grit sand paper and smooth it. The Wiley Clapp Sp101 is just different grips and sights. Unlike the GP100 version. Ruger cuts too many corners

Very disappointed when I received the gun everything looked good. after I signed for it looked closely at the front site it was actually so loose you could push it left or right with my finger.qualty control sucks .so I took it to my gun smith for him to fix.TIme and money spent to go and have it fixed.probably think twice before I order on line again.guess it was my fault I didn’t see it.or maybe it was Ruger fault quality control let this get out.what do think. Yours truly. Disappointed PS. Far as the rest the gun works fine I love it .

I bought this for the improved Rear Sight over my regular SP 101, The wife shot it and liked it so much she confiscated it. I had to buy a 2nd one for me. Great shooting little concealed gun, and very versatile being able to shoot 38 specials, 38 special +P's, or FULL HOUSE 357's. She carries it as a primary, I carry it as a backup to my Kimber 45's. We don't feel out gunned with the stout loads it will handle. We both LOVE the sights over the regular SP 101, which might be up sale before too long, as this one is really growing on me. Love it!!! I have shot 3 different kinds of ammo in 158 grain bullets and this pistol likes all! They was all 357 loads! Have not tried 38 yet! The 357 load is very manageable even my 16 year old son thought so! The rubber grip does is job! This gun is beautiful and a eye catcher!
