Sauer 100 Classic 30-06 Springfield Bolt Action Rifle - 22" Barrel, 5+1 Rounds

This is my favorite gun. I own several but none of them shoots as good as this one the last three groups at 100 yards with this rifle were .31,.31and .34 with hand loads consisting of staball powder federal match primers and Sierra 180 grain hunting bullets. Buds was great as usual got it in under a week

I recently purchased this rifle based upon numerous reviews which extolled the virtues of its accuracy. The reviews were spot on. I am not a good marksman. However, at the gun club using a homemade wooden rest, no sandbags and Remington Core-Lokt 180 ammunition, with a 3 x 15 Nikon Monarch 5 scope with Leupold bases and mounts, I shot two three shot groups and the bullets all were touching. This is a very nice rifle for the money. The trigger is exceptional. I have a 30-06 Winchester Model 70, post 64, and a Remington Model 700. Both are now for sale. If you want/need a very nice rifle in the $750-800 range, then I suggest you consider this rifle. Product rating, Exceptional.
