Bergara Rifles B-14 Woodsman Bolt 6.5 CRD - Blue/Black, 22" Barrel, 3 Rounds, Wood, Walnut Stock

I've owned a lot of rifles through the years and this the finest factory rifle I've ever owned. The walnut stock is very attractive, the #3 barrel is perfectly centered in stock and free floated. The trigger breaks at 2 lbs 10 ounces. I'd like to see it closer to 2 lbs. The accuracy is incredible! The rifle is shooting Nosler 140 grain ballistic tips into .40" at 100 yards and less than 1.5" at 300 yards. The only negative is the magazine constraint. Overall cartridge length is limited to 2.825" and doesn't allow many bullets to be seated to the lands. The rifle is not a featherweight by any means. The stock is slightly "clubby " in that it fits someone with larger hands. It fits me perfectly. The rifle is an outstanding value. I liked it so much I've bought the synthetic version (Hunter model).

It arrived with a beautiful, highly figured stock, and is nailing 3/8" five shot groups at 100 yds. (Hornady 123 gr AMAX/43 gr IMR 4350) The trigger is as good as I have experienced on a factory rifle, and required no adjustment from the box. Accurate, easy to shoot and beautiful to look at. These rifles are winners, and I suspect this wont be my last one.
