Best Bang for the Buck! For what this 45 offers you really can't go wrong. There are so many more features on this gun that others charge so much more for.

What can I say! This gun is so awesome. I bought two of them. A tack driver out of the box.I replaced the grips for forty five dollars off amazon. Metro arms did send me replacements since my right grip crack after the first range visit. I am a huge fan of bobcut 1911’s. You want bang for your buck. I suggest you give this gun a try. I will be buying another Metro Arms 1911 in the future. I rest my case.

Tight slide fit, fit and finish was great.

Fit and finish is fine. Trigger is great. Did not like the grips, and replaced them with starburst g10 grips (from ebay), and it looks like a plus $1000 gun, which I also have. Buy it.

To begin with- BUDS is great to work with and their customer service is excellent. This is a great gun at any price and an outstanding gun buy for what it sells for. Try finding a commander size 1911 with all its features (hi-visibility fiber optic front sight, FULLY adjustable (windage and elevation) rear sight, adjustable trigger, raised mag release, ambidextrous thumb safety, chain link/scalloped front strap, bobcut, etc) anywhere else for less than $1300-1500. You can’t. Took it to the range and it shoots handloads, Winchester White Box 230gr FMJ, Corbon Pow'R Ball 165gr +P, and Federal HST 230 gr JHP without any problems. Have about 500-600 rounds through it and it continues to run flawlessly. It’s still just a tight as the day I took it out of the box and is more accurate than I am. Can’t say enough good things about this gun and it is now my EDC. MAC makes an excellent product.

First had to clean, oil was almost dripping from it. The case was a little overkill, stripped it all the way down to the frame, the sear, disconnect and hammer is a 7 grade, excellent spring a 10 grade, main frame and slide about a 7 grade, trigger about a 6 grade had a lot of deep scratches on the bow. I was expecting a little better since this was there intermediate grade. Took it out to the range, kept on having failure to feed due to the magazine, slapped in a 7 rd colt SS magazine with no issues. Overall about a 7-8 grade. I can see changing out the sear, disconnect and hammer, and trigger.

WOW. This gun is amazing. This is by far the nicest quality gun I have seen in a 1911. I went to the local gun shop and played with some of their high end 1911s and the fit and finish for a 1200-1700$ gun was not that impressive. Some of the guns I played with were an R1, and a Springfield. The quality was ok but again not impressive and the frame to slide fit on both were relatively sloppy. This gun is labeled incorrect its not a Bersa. This is imported from eagle imports and is made by Metro Arms world wide known for precise fit and finish. I will tell you this is consistent with the product I received. The finish is impressive and the frame to slide fit is flawless. This feels like a high end custom gun that has been hand lapped. The trigger pull is very smooth, light and crisp. The sights are very nice, everything is polished internally and it operates flawlessly. The grip looks great I will not be changing anything on this gun and it is my daily carry now. I cant say enough about this company. My buddy purchased the metro arms american classic 2 and it is also extremely nice for a sub $500 gun. The fit and finish are amazing and the frame to slide fit was exceptional, not as good as the MAC I am writing this reveiw on but close. It also came with a polished feed ramp which is really nice for a gun in that price range. Back to the MAC. The grip is really nice and the serrations hold your hand well when firing. I was able to take it out of the box, clean the oil off and go to the range. I consistently shot used shotgun shells at 15 yds with very few misses. If your looking for a high end custom gun from a great company at an affordable price this is it!

My dealer received the Bersa MAC 1911 Bobcut 45 within 48 hours of me ordering the firearm from Bud's Gunshop . I had always thought I would like a bobcut 1911 and saw this one listed on Buds web site. I was really surprised at how good the fit and finish were for Philippine made 1911 . Slide to frame fit was the tightest I've seen in several new 1911's I have handled lately some costing twice as much. The new pistol was drenched in oil so after throughly cleaning the Bobcut 45 I took it out and shot about 50 rounds of mixed handloads from 230 jacketed tp 200 gr. SWC bullets without one FTF . The empty brass was kicked right beside me in a small pile . The sights were not zeroed but the rear adjustable sight made it very easy to have it zeroed in about 10 rounds .The pistol only came with one magazine and it performed flawlessly . Mine came with a one-piece full length recoil spring guide with a captured spring . Worked fine but makes it just a little harder to field strip. Overall I am quite pleased with the Bersa MAC 1911 Bobcut 45 acp for the money and with Bud's .
