I absolutely love this rifle. Its bare-bones, lightweight and exactly what you need for competition. Only a quick swap on some parts and I was ready to go for 3 Gun. Thank You BUDS!!!!!! - Wish you still sold these because I would buy another in a heartbeat.

Lite and accurate, great deal for the money. The trigger is better than most AR's, changed the trigger springs with a lighter set and now it's even better.

The fit and finish of this rifle is superb. The accuracy at 100 yards with Federal 50gr Tipped Varmint ammo is sub moa. For a rifle with this type of profile it's a steal. Just going to be another one of my coyote hunting rifles anyhow. No failures whatsoever and holds a great group. Trigger could use some work, but all my ARs have crummy triggers. It's wearing a Burris 4.5-15x42 in Weaver tactical rings. Going to get years of use out of this Colt. For a light contour rifle with a 16" barrel it shoots like a house of fire. First a comment on Buds, excellent customer service, The Colt csr 1516 shipped in 7 days after purchase, I followed up once with the order and they where able to inform me the process stage the purchase and shipment was in. There is not alot of information on this gun from Colt (Bold Ideas, TX, builds Colts competition rifles in a custom shop), so I was abit hesitate to purchase. However, I decided after looking at reviews from Gunblast, and 30calgal to pull the trigger. I must say an excellent rifle, I shot a 0.69 in group right out of the box. The trigger is at 5.78 pounds and has a match grade barrel and trigger. I believe after break in and some reloads, 0.5 or less is attainable. I have a $1500+ ar and the Colt CSR out performs that rifle in fit, function, and accuracy. For the price point a must to have!! The CSR is everything one would expect from Colt.
