This .308 is a great value. Good barrel, solid upper/lower, adjustable stock. A notch above the bargain AR's. I do not like the trigger. It is heavy and gritty so I'm giving only 4 stars.

I've customized mine quite a bit, overall though, very pleased with this .308 AR.
Very high quality fit, finish, and materials. The only 'thing' that annoys me is the commercial spec/size buffer-tube, would prefer mil-spec because that is what size I already have for all the other AR's I own. Not a big issue, certainly would buy again or recommend this to anyone. I use L7 Lancer mags with mine as well as Magpul if anyone is curios as to what other mags might work.

Oh my goodness I love this gun. I used a Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6x24 optic with a SureFire Procomp muzzle brake. I changed the the hand guard to a Magpul and Hogue buttstock all in OD Green. This thing is a tack driving machine. It would be good at Deer hunting, Hog hunting, 3 gun or just about anything you can think of. It is hard to find someone who has something bad to say about Windham weaponry. I did a lot of research about the DPMS, Del-Ton and Smith and Wesson M&P 10 but kept coming back to this gun and I am glad I did.

What can I say about this firearm? This is my first .308, and I am still astonished by the level of craftmanship and pride Windham puts into their work. It arrived to my dealer where they opened the box in front of me. I was surprised to see that it came in a hard case. I went to the range the same day I picked it up. It only took 20 minutes to get it zeroed in, and it was DEAD ON. Afterwards, we put 80 rounds through it of mixed ammunition and it never jammed or misfired once!! Cannot be more thriller with this purchase and I highly recommend you strongly consider Windham for your next firearm.

Great dealing with Buds super easy transaction and super fast shipping so thank you Buds. As far as the firearm it was in outstanding condition and super great craftsmanship. I had put several hundred rounds through it of several different ammo's with no FTF or catchs of any kind. And even if it wasn't as great craftsmanship as it is, there is the AWESOME lifetime warranty that comes along with it and every Windham Weaponry firearm. I would definitely buy this product again and will also look at picking it up in other calibers also.
