American Tactical Imports GKOF28SV CAVALRY SX OU 28 26IN - 26" Barrel, 2 + 1 Rounds, Wood Stock, 3" Chamber

Website says it’s chambered for 3 inch received it today the box says it’s chambered for 3 inch yet on the barrel stamped on barrel 70 mm. Went to the manufacturers website Kofs and according to it they do not offer this model in 3 inch chambering only 70 mm. Other than that happy with the gun I have it in 12ga,20 and 410 also Which all of those are chamberd for 3 inch

Before I placed my order I asked if this 28 ga had 3" chambers. The answer give on "Ask the Community" section of the page for the gun said it does have 3" chambers and the description says "are chambered for up to 3" magnum. The box the gun came in is label 3" with the SN# for the gun on the same label but the gun barrel is label 2 3/4" chambers and when I check it appears to have 2 3/4" chambers. If you a looking for a 28 ga that can handle the new 3" shells you need to be real careful. But what do you do when you ask the question, get an answer but don't get what you paid for? Other wise the gun shoots find.

Unfortunately I have to list this gun at less than a sterling rating due to the damage to the stock I found on it upon opening the box. The barrel section had been thrashing around in the box unsecured and poorly wrapped and had severely dented the stock in multiple places. A new gun should look just that, new, but this one surely did not. I cannot recommend this gun to anyone else as I must assume the same poor packing is possibly involved with all of them until proven differently.

This is the third 28 gauge Cavalry I've owned. All three have arrived with the extractor far too tight on their receivers and that causes very rapid wear on the bolster that pushes them out when the gun is opened. ATI should be made aware of this. For shooting and carrying afield I've never had a gun that I like as much.Hunting pheasant, quail and chukars I use Improved Cylinder and Improved Modified chokes.

very nice gun for the great price. fast shipper. shipping is free on firearms, great benefit. pleased with the gun, but the tukish walnut on the stock really doesn't match the stock photo of the gun. but that's not buds fault. the stock photo shows prettier wood than what's actually on the gun stock.
