I found it hard to dissemble, but fun to shoot

Bought this thinking it would provide an answer all of the Home Defense scenarios being discussed. Not the case. Barrel’s a little short to generate the needed energy to be as effective as I’d have liked. Sighting is not at all easy and add that to the cost of 410 (twice that of 12 ga) it was a no-go for me. Might be a delight in 12ga but in 410? It looks far better than reality allows it to be. Bud’s on the other hand was and is still a clear winner in this.Service is spot on. Delivery reliable and fast. Bud’s is always a good choice.

amazing little 410 gauge. Fun to shoot

I had a hard time deciding on which Shockwave to purchase. I started my search focused on the .20 gauge model, then after reading sever reviews and observing applicable videos, I decided to purchase the .410 as a home security weapon. Obviously it does not have as big a punch, however, at close range, and with the right ammo, I'm convinced this beauty will perform as desired. No to get it to the range for a good workout. Great service and fast shipping from Bud's. Now awaiting my Ruger Max 9 w/Crimson Trace which I ordered last week and will hopefully be shipped soon...

Very fast delivery from Buds to my FFL dealer placed order 11/30/23 and I had the 410 mossberg shockwave in my hands on 12/5/2023! have not run any rounds thru it yet. but it is easy to conceal, fits into my tennis racquet bag, I feel safe on the court!

FINALLY! I was able to get my hands on one of these beauties. This with the right shells make a great home defense firearm. Adding a laser and light will complete this for defending my family. Looking at getting another to stage near the rear of the house. The first will be bedside for those bumps in the night. At 10 to 15 yards with 000 buck will be a deterrent to any uninvited guest without worrying about over penetration. Just wish more ammo manufacturers would produce additional offerings for home defense.

Typical Bud's review - the Mossberg 590 ShockWave in .410 gauge is just about perfect for this aging veteran. I waited for years to get one, but the timing was never right (out of stock) or funds were scarce when they did become available. Well, I finally scored one and couldn't be happier. I gave my old Mossy 12 ga. pump to my youngest son a couple of years ago when all the riots were happening (he's in Detroit) but always yearned for another. Enter the ShockWave, courtesy of Bud's. First impression is a positive one. Shipped quickly after payment cleared, and arrived securely packaged. I just took off the barrel and scrubbed it, lightly oiled the moving parts, and put it back together - easy peasey. It is now resting in the padded clarinet case I got off Amazon. Yes, you heard me right. A padded clarinet case... perfect fit and perfect for my needs. And it doesn't scream "there's a firearm inside!". All in all, just what you'd expect from Bud's and Mossberg. If you can find one in stock, go get one !

I bought this for my wife! We went to the gun show and she saw this there. I saw the price and said no way, I'll check Bud's when we get home! After seeing Bud's price I ordered it immediately. It was fast and easy and the price was good. I had it shipped to my FFL dealer. I was amazed how FAST it shipped and how FAST we recieved it. Bud is a great place to buy and quick to ship. My wife loves this Mossberg 410 because it doesn't have the recoil that her 12 guage has. It is powerful and accurate and easy to handle. A great addition to anyones self defence wants. It is a fantastic shotgun to use and fun at that. Small, light and powerful! I like it and am going to get myself one too! Mossberg is well made! Try it you'll like it!

Great home protection for my wife. Easy to load, aim and fire. Very little recoil. Many good home defense ammo for 410, but little hard to find. Plenty of shot load for plinking available.

Great weapon to have for home defense, for any family member to use. Kick is very manageable. Well built. As Mossbergs are.

I love it...great for defensive purposes. light and easy to deploy. I loaded it with Hornaday Critical Defense rounds. "410 Triple Defense .41 slug with 2 .35cal balls". (Very effective)
