Really nice 1911. Since I'm probably not going to come across a Singer 1911A1 anytime soon, this is the next best thing. A modern copy of an icon. I love it. Service from Buds was of course, exceptional.

great gun shoots very well

Pistol arrived in excellent condition. No issues experienced so far. I really like the old school look and feel of the gun. It is accurate and functions well but to be honest a little less refined to some more expensive options out there but I believe that is the point. For a good, reliable 45, this is a solid choice.

Received my Springfield Armory 1911 MIL SPEC from BUDS recently. Really like the looks and feel of it. Haven’t shot it yet but from all other reviews I have seen i am sure to be happy with it. Good looking gun at a good price.

If you want an all around “one and done” 1911 this is it. It’s pretty and functional with just enough features to make it also carry worthy. Not it’s not a Wilson Combat but it’s also not $2000.00. It shot amazing and I put probably 500 rounds through it until it started miss feeding due to it being so dirty. Once I cleaned it no more issues. The only thing that would make this the best 1911 available would be a hardened finish. This finish is a little delicate so be aware of the dummy scratch when putting back together.

I’ve always wanted a 1911 45 caliber ACP and this Springfield Armory mil spec pistol is all I hoped it would be. The balance is great and fits my hand perfectly. I find it is comfortable to shoot for a large caliber, and I maintained tight groupings at 10 meters. I will recommend this weapon to family and friends.

The US army used this weapon from the Spanish-American war to the 1980's. This version has the quality and reliability of a Springfield gun and the solid construction needed for combat. I couldn't be happier. Bud's and Springfield came though again.

Can't go wrong with a 1911 from Springfield! Feels and shoots the way a handgun should. The trigger comes a little stiff for a range only gun which is expected. Your local FFL licensed gunsmith could easily polish up the trigger to make it more of a hair trigger but I like it the way it is. 1911s are a must have for any gun enthusiast and so far the springfield brand is my favorite. And as always, Buds has the best deals around.

Received my new Parkerized MilSpec and am very happy with my purchase. This is a quality firearm, but intentionally designed to mimic the original. I love the upgraded features, and the craftsmanship demonstrated in its construct. Although I own Garrisons and Ronins, this will be my “outdoors” sidearm. Shopping with Bud’s is terrific as usual. As always fantastic SA 1911. She's not expensive but shoots as good as SA guns costing twice as much. She's no frills tho....not rail....so what. Buds as usual delivered fast and consistent.

I had wanted a Springfield 1911 for years before I really started buying guns. After buying, selling, and trading at least 3-4 different .45 pistols/1911's, I finally ended up with this Springfield I paid a little over 200 DOLLARS FOR IT with trade for an RIA FS TAC. I will never, ever, sell it. This is the best 1911 you can buy for the money, period. You just cannot buy another 1911 that is THIS WELL BUILT. This is, hands down, the most accurate gun with THE GREATEST TRIGGER in ANY GUN known to man. You simply cannot mimic how amazing a 1911 trigger is, you cannot mimic how perfect it feels in your hand, it's HEAVY and can double as a bludgeoning tool, and it's a true perfect replica of a 1911 from ww1 and ww2. If you're nostalgic like I am, and you absolutely love old weapons, and you're in the market for a 1911, don't settle for anything less than the best you can buy for your money, and that's a Springfield.

This is a great gun for the price. Functions perfectly and looks great. I believe it's made in the USA. Like the basic checkered grips. The sights are large and easy to use.

I have fired about 500 rounds through this now and it has performed perfectly. Would definitely recommend this gun any enthusiast. Perfect example of a classic 1911

Very happy with this 1911. Great for the price. Switched to a flat main spring housing. Had a couple issues with the magazines when loading rounds. It seemed it would get caught up somewhere in the mag housing and prevent the rounds to spring up but I got a few Wilson combat mags ordered. Otherwise great to shoot. I'd buy again. Thanks Buds
