The product and service from Buds were both outstanding. I had tried to price the same gun at a local store, (wanted to keep my business local) but after they didn't get back to me timely, I placed my order with Buds. 2 days later I got a call from the local store with the price I had been looking for, their price was almost $100 more than Buds. I made the right decision. Buds filled my order quickly for the gun and ammo, shipped out with tracking information and received quickly and all in good shape. Another Great Buds purchase. I have been a Team Buds Member over 3 years. There isn't another online Gun Store with better Customer Service. I can order a gun on Monday and it's at my FFL by Wednesday! Sometimes the next day. This is my 3rd Springfield Handgun Purchase and enjoy shooting all of them. Getting the new 10mm from Springfield for next purchase.

It's a crap... I've purchased two Springfield Armory Guns and sold right away without single firing. Unbalance machine work/poor job Inside of frame. It was painful to own for few days.

Great conceal carry pistol. I alternate between this and my glock 19 and man, the comfort level is way better. I can sit comfortably with appendix carry but have to get used to the transition from 4 o'clock. Put 200 rounds of winchester hardball...no problem, 20 federal hst....no problem, a mag dump of hydra shok...no problem. Has been reliable with everything i've fed it. I can see how off duty LEO's fancy this weapon.

Bud's did great as usual. XDS 3.3 9mm is my everyday ccw. Fits in my Alien gear IWB holster originaly purchased for S&W shield that XDs replaced. Fiber optic front sights are nice till I get laser. Trigger is improving with every trip to range. Still a bit stiff. I would/ do recommend this pistol for ccw, all day every day. The two tone is I little more dressy than the ol' common black on black.

The Xds is great for concealed carry, just be aware of the after market magazines. The recoil was very manageable and it's nice and compact with the right holster. Two tone is the way to go and I would definitely recommend Springfield Armory Pistols. Will buy again, only in the .40 Cal next time.

This is my 1st 1st review and honestly I have have been driven by guilt for not sharing a good thing sooner so actually I'm going to review 2 things here. First Buds is just great to deal with. This is my 4th purchase form them and they are so easy to deal with and never had a problem. This current buy only took a week to have get into my hands ( no waiting in RI when you hold a CCW Permit -they get some things right here on the left coast!) Now the gun itself. I have had 2 small 9s in the past and just couldn't warm up to them. Not a problem as the CCW permit I had was very restricted through state AG office so I wasn't actually carrying at the time anyway. Having finally gotten an unrestricted through my local town has allowed me to carrying as a daily practice. I have a J frame but wanted to try a small 9 again an I took my time and did some research and observation of folks with various models. I wasn't going to let money be a big factor on something my life or others may depend on so I even checked out some of the pricier models. I finally was sold on the XDs. I have had it out to the range several times and is reliable, shoots accurate without small 9 pain, its easy to carry and conceal. Plus Spring field had a special FREE gear deal and sent me 4 mags, a usable OWB holster and a mag holster! only 2 minor issues have cropped up 1. easy to pinch some flesh on palm of hand when inserting extended mags. Heel of hand can get pinched between extension and grip. happens when trying to do a fast reload but I think I will just have to master a modified technique with pracice. 2. Today at range several times slide didn't stay open after last round. Only happened a few times and not a huge issue and one I think will that will resolve as gun breaks in a bit more.

Bud delivered to another very satisfied buyer. New Springfield 9mm XDS arrived the following week as promised. Run a box of Blazers this morning at the range. Sweet firing pistol. No problems. Rate the pistol with five stars and Buds five stars. Tnx

The SA XDs is a fine weapon. I've owned a Shield, G43, and now the XDs in 45 and 9mm and in my opinion the XDs rules the single stack striker fired roost. The sights and extra round makes it a clear winner over the Glock for me. I prefer the trigger and the ergos in the SA too. It's slim, well made and absolutely reliable. For the price it's a fantastic concealed carry weapon. Buds was fast as usual.

If you want the gun but don't want all the gear then this pistol is for you. You get one seven round magazine and one 8 round magazine with a mini x-tension. This is a fantastic pistol at a fantastic price. The case is also much smaller than the normal XDMXDS briefcase, which makes it perfect for a trip to the range. If you know and like Springfield products, you will like this pistol a lot ! It just feels good in your hand. It shoots well and is reliable. Another high quality firearm from Springfield Armory. One final thought, get to know the XD-Man.
