good ammo with a great price. I would recommend this for shooters on a budget.

Winchester claims 845 fps from a 4-inch test barrel. I am skeptical of that claim based on the performance in a Taurus 856 with a 2-inch barrel and a S&W Model 36 with a 1.85-inch barrel. In both guns almost every single round out of 100 for each session (200 total) keyholed the target. By contrast, a factory 158-gr LRN rated at "only" 755 fps from a 4-inch barrel was stable in both guns and made round holes in the target. I estimate the 755-fps-rated ammo ran at around 670 fps from these short barrels. If this Winchester ammo was insufficiently stabilized due to low velocity, it must run much, much slower than advertised.
