Excellent pistol for concealed carry Bud's did a great job.

Simply exceptional quality for price. Buds delivered within their stated time frame, no problems what so ever. As far as the 437 is concerned. For the price point of this firearm I cant say enough about it. Lock-up is very respectable. DA is moderately "heavy" but clean and smooth, SA has a very crisp,clean break, Im guessing around the 1.5 - 2lb mark. Thus far Ive ran around 200 rounds of 130Gr FMJ and 50 rounds of +P critical defense through it. Handled it all with no problems. The only change I have made is I put a rubber Hogue grip on it in place of the narrowish factory grip. Besides that all in all an excellent choice if you are looking for a snub nose revolver.

My preferred CCW. Love the combat grip & the single-action hammer option. Single-action is a breeze, double action feels equivalent to my Ruger LCr Was carrying a scandium framed Model 360 air weight chambered in 38 Spl +P identical to this one for 5 years and my wife took it over. Iv'e had no issues with snagging the hammer and the longer grip makes for great handling. Generally carry OWB in a Bianchi Piranha holster or tucked in my vest pocket with a Blackhawk Size 8 sleeve. Great little revolver.

The service from Buds was excellent as usual. The S&W Model 437 was delivered in excellent, new condition. No problems. The 437 is a great Airweight J-Frame S&W revolver. These are among the most reliable concealed carry handguns available. The flat black coating or finish on the revolver is very nice, even, and appears to be quite durable. The combat style rubber grips are very good, and fit my hand well. These combat style grips are good if you carry the weapon IWB or OWB in a holster. The grips are a bit too long for concealed carry in a pocket holster, and I have put a new set of boot grips on the revolver, which works great. I've got a lot of experience with J-frames and revolvers in general, and this one measures up. These J-frame snub nosed revolvers are accurate if the shooter is accurate. They are intended for close in combat, where pinpoint accuracy may not be needed, but they will hit the bullseye at 7 yards and further if you are as accurate as the gun.

This is an AWESOME Snub Nose .38 SPL +P handgun. It does what it's supposed to do when you point it at the target and pull the trigger. It goes bang with no issues and it's accurate landing rounds where you point it. This handgun's reputation speaks for itself, it's Smith & Wesson quality. The Model 437 is well made, performs well, and is priced moderately. This handgun is another option for everyday carry. I even keep it close by the bed in case of an emergency. I LOVE this handgun.I have the S&W Model 442 as well. Can't really say which one I love better but, rest assured they will serve me well if they are ever needed. Thanks Smith & Wesson. Lastly, thanks Bud's Gun Shop, as ALWAYS, you guys came through like CHAMPS!!! It only took like three days to obtain both the Model 437 & the Model 442. I'm almost certain we'll be doing business again!!! :)

S&W can never go wrong with them. They make a quality product and this pocket 38 is no exception. Locks up tight, smooth and crisp trigger pull. Can not say enough good things about it. Buds great as always.
