Colt AR 15 Overview

The gas operated bolt cycling system is activated by blowing gasses from a fired round, then guided into the bolt carrier to cycle the firing action for the next available round. The overall length Colt AR 15 is about 38 inches (fixed A2 stock), and with a barrel length of 16 to 20 inches, with a 1:7 twist.
