Richard, Buds prices are tied to stock levels on non LE firearms. A recent restock is the only time a consumer model will be lower priced than the LE model with discount. There are absolutely no differences in the actual firearms them selves.

no lock means that it does not have a internal built in lock. as to the LE only Many major manufacturers offer discounts to a large list of individuals they consider Qualified Professionals. The "LE" is only because manufacturers designate specific firearms that can be sold with the Law enforcement/qualified professional discounts. Bud's policy on these programs are at: https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/qualified_professional_discounts.php The "no lock" only means this model was made without the "Big Brother" internal locking device - so no worry about having it locked, and not being able to access the key easily. One just has to exercise common sense when storing it to prevent unauthorized access.

Joseph, No Internal Lock = no internal slide lock similar to the Taurus Semi-Auto's and Revolver Locks which needs a key to mechanically lock the slide or hammer in place so the action does not work. LE firearms are no different than the non LE firearms. They are just packaged for sale to LE and usually come with a discount and extra accessories, usually an extra magazine.
