Introduced in 2008, the P30L (for Long) is essentially identical to the P30 except P30L has a 1/2" longer slide and barrel. Like the P30, the P30L was designed as a modern police and security pistol and combines optimal function and safety. Features include a special grip frame with interchangeable backstrap inserts and lateral plates, ambidextrous slide and magazine release levers, and a Picatinny rail molded into the front of the frame. The extractor serves as a loaded chamber indicator providing a reminder of a loaded chamber that can be subtly seen and felt. An open notch rear sight with luminous (non-radioactive) contrast points allows for fast and accurate target acquisition, even under poor lighting conditions. This P30L is a V1 "Lite" LEM trigger system which is a DAO. It does not have an external safety or decocking system. Pistols come with 2 magazines.

The only thing I'm not so crazy about with this firearm, is the fact that you have to pull that trigger so far back in order to get it to go "Bang". It's a very, VERY light trigger, but by the time you pull it back, you begin to wonder if it's going to fire at all. For this reason I would not use this for concealed carry. I wouldn't want to bet my life on that trigger pull.

The P30L is an excellent gun and worth the money. The ergonomics are very good. The LEM trigger takes some getting used to, but after a while it is a pleasure to shoot. Very happy with the gun and the overall purchase experience with Buds Gun Shop. Thank you Buds!

Great shooter, gun seems to melt into your hand, accuracy of an all steel gun, LEM trigger is the best! I saved over $200 buying at Bud’s, paid $780 for a brand new P30L LEM V1! Can’t beat that!
