I was wondering what generation this pistol will be? I'm really hoping for the 3rd generation but that YouTube video of the unboxing is a Gen 2. The "3rd Generation" will have a circle located in the frame when disassembling the weapon. The 1st and 2nd generation will have a 1 or a 2 respectively located inside the frame. The 3rd generation has the best striker built. I believe all the newly made Sig P365 are indeed Gen 3 but I am not sure. Thank you!

It's most likely the newest generation because the demand for firearms is so high that I highly doubt this is old stock. But as others have said there's only one way to know for sure and that's to contact buds customer service at 859-368-0371 Monday thru Friday 9am to 9pm. Sorry couldn't give a definite answer but hope this helps some.

You could also just go with a P365X. These were released in 2021 and have the full size grip of the "XL" and the shorter Barrel/Slide of the standard P365. It holds +2 in a flush fit mag over the standard version, plus it comes optics ready, if that's something your into. Wats the difference between sig sauer P365 X-Ray 9mm. and P365 Doble action manual 9mm

The XRAY refers to the night sites, and the Manual refers to the manual safety l, there are multiple versions with both of these features.

For concealed carry I'd recommend the double action manual 9 since it has a manual thumb safety. For home defense I'd probably say the 365 with x-ray night sights, since guessing most home invasions happen at night. I have the 365xl, it has night sights and a manual safety just a little bigger. Hope this helps.
