Ordered this rifle and took it to the range, first mag of ammo went clean and accurate. However, it started failing to eject. upon further inspection the gas block and tube were sliding around loose at the end of the barrel. I am disappointed with this due to being a huge Ruger fan.

Took a bit to get out and try it out But seems to work pretty well. Gave it thorough going over before shooting it. ran flawlessly, no jams.

This is my first ar15 pistol I have owned so I don't have much to compare it to but I am very happy with it. I took it out in the woods to shoot some targets and shot a hundred or so rounds thru it the day I picked it up from the FFL and it was flawless. I love it!! I put a romeo5 red dot on it and zeroed it to 100 yards and was shooting 2in. Groups all day. I would definitely recommend that anyone make this purchase

I have had this gun for a little over a month now. So far it has proven to be a good reliable firearm. I have fed it 223 and 556 and it has taken both equally well. The only thing that I am going to do with it right now is a trigger job. The trigger is stiff and very rough.

I'm really happy with this AR purchase. My only regret is I didn't buy two. My next one will be the 300 blackout version.
300 rounds and no issues.
And thanks to buds gun shop for getting this out with no hassle smooth transaction.

This AR ckassified as a pistol. In Connecticut The following are prohibited: ✘Semi-automatic handguns with a detachable magazine and one or more of the following features: 1.Magazine that attaches outside of the pistol grip 2.Threaded barrel 3.Barrel shroud 4.Manufactured weight of 50oz or more 5.Magazine capacity exceeding 10 rounds So this Pistol checks every box in the prohibited list. The rifle version unfortunately would be prohibited as well.

Yes sir directly from Rugers website "With all major components machined at Ruger's Mayodan, NC facility, the AR-556 offers consumers an affordable, American-made Modern Sporting Rifle with the rugged reliability they have come to expect from Ruger. "The AR-556 is the first firearm designed and built in our Mayodan, North Carolina facility" I have the 18" Ruger 556 MPR and I love it, its durable reliable, and is easy on the eyes. I dont yet have the pistol version but I'm sure that its quality as well.

If I'm interpreting this right I think you are asking if a suppressor would render the barrel length too long and to that I can say there is no upper limit on pistol barrel length, only a lower limit of 16" to be considered a rifle which this already doesn't qualify for due to the lack of a stock. Even if there was a maximum barrel length for pistols I doubt a suppressor would change the relevant barrel length unless you permanently attached it with pin/weld which would be an odd choice.

Larry, CO has a 15d magazine capacity limit. I have heard from other members that if magazine capacity is the ONLY state restriction that some Buds personnel have offered to remove/replace magazines. I would contact Buds Customer Service to see whether or not they will at 1-859-368-0371 9am-9pm EST Mon-Fri. or use the Blue Chat now button at the bottom right corner 9am to 9pm Mon - Sat and 9am to 7pm Sunday.

Robert, Yes.The top rail is a standard pic rail. Magpul mbus sights will drop right on. Ruger has a pretty good set of back up sights that are very similar. Most back up sight sets will drop right on this rail.
