This is my 6th Bersa semi-auto handgun and as always it didn't disappoint...opened the box, wiped it down...lubed the rails and rain 300 round through it without an FTF or any incident at all. Great value for the performance! I'll probably upgrade the trigger on this model and add some rubber grips but other than that, fantastic gun. As usual, dealing with BudsGunShop was easy and professional, the end to end process worked perfectly!

Purchased my thunder compact 40 a few days after Christmas 2017 and I'm very pleased with its performance. Dealing with BudsGunShop was also a great experience for me as being an old soldier and retired law enforcement officer, I don't have the patience I use to. . To my surprise I received the weapon three days at my ffl after ordering. Took it to the range a week later and fired a hundred rounds through it flawlessly. . I'm a lefty and this Bersa is really suited for me. I will use Buds again as they have some of the best prices out there. .. Thanks for the outstanding service. ..

I had my eye on this weapon for years. Finally got it. It is a cool little pistol, breaks down easy, the controls are very large and ambidextrous, sights are quick to pick up, feels amazing in the hand. Only problem is that this weapon and I are not quite right for each other. I don't enjoy shooting it. I can hit what I'm aiming at, but it is snappy and follow up shots tend to be a bit off, or it takes a sec to re-sight target. That's not a knock on the gun though. It's well built and I haven't had a problem in over 700 rounds firing both brass and aluminum ammo. We just aren't right for each other.

I bought the Bersa two tone and was so impressed that I also bought the blued version for my CCW. Both guns out of the box are very appealing, comfortable and accurate. This is not a cheap gun, it is an inexpensive gun, big difference. As far as ease of use, comfort, features and function I would put this Bersa up against any of the $1,000 pistols on the market. At the range during qualification it out shot them all, including a $1,500 gun that continuously jammed and FTF. I am not listing names out of respect because the big name and big dollar guns are good, I personally don't need those names and don't need to shell out that cash, I need solid function and dependability. The Bersa won't disappoint in any aspect including price. The only Con that I have is that it doesn't like my reloads, but I believe it is the dies that I am using are not crimping correct or something of that nature. I am using Lee Carbide dies and I am planning on getting a set of RCBS and test again. This gun eats factory ammo just fine and I have tried numerous brands. So like I said I believe it is the ammo and not the gun itself. I have put at least 500 rounds through both guns and will recommend to all my friends and anyone reading this review to get a Bersa with confidence. I am a very happy consumer on a budget, this gun more then met my needs and is well within my budget. And what can I say about Bud's, great prices and great customer service.

I really liked the look of this pistol when I first began making comparisons online with other compact models of equal caliber. I found a .45 in stock at a competitors store and found that it fit my hands perfectly. I didn't make the purchase then because I knew I wanted the .40 and the competitors price was much higher than Buds. Taking into consideration that other pistols in this compact class do not accommodate a 10+1 mag, it was an easy decision for me. The gun arrived at Bud's within 3 days of my order and I put 60 rounds through it the following day. I can't say enough good things about this pistol. It operated flawlessly right out of the box, shot very tight groups, had minimal recoil. The finish on mine was flawless. As usual the service from Bud's was great.

I like this gun. Fits my hands well and the controls are great. Accurate and swallows everything. I highly recommend. Kind of a mini 226

I just picked up this great looking weapon about an hour ago. Couldn't be more pleased!! Not only does it look great, but to my surprise, it came with a second magazine, which wasn't listed in the item description. I obviously haven't had a chance to take it to the range yet (hopefully this coming weekend), and it is a little 'greasy', which is to be expected, but it really feels good in my hand. This will definitely be my new concealed carry weapon. The features on this gun are extensive and I would highly recommend it. As for dealing with Buds ... this is my second purchase and I wouldn't hesitate to buy more. Their communications and customer service reps are great. Prices are better than anywhere else I looked.

This is a real gun. Nice full size hammer, rail, metal frame, & still a good carry weight. Very robust yet concealable. Put 150rds of Federal & reloads through it, no jams. The slide failed to stay locked back once. I put only 2 rds at a time in that mag & fired, several more times to see if it would happen again but it didn't. Then fired several more full mags, no problems. Chalking that up to break-in. Has a very nice light SA pull, caught me off guard a couple times. The flat magazine floor plates for the full size Pro work on these mags. Available on Bersa's website for $2.50ea. I think they look much better & add to concealability. Also takes SIG239 holsters & fits my SR40c nylon holster. The finish is good at 1st glance but blemishes easily. Is a nice contrast to my SR40c which is also great. Overall a great purchase, love this thing,

Nice gun, saw other reviews about finish but mine is good. Will put gun to test this weekend, but it looks good and feels good, points nicely.
