As always great service from Bud's, even with all the Covid-19 BS going on the rifle shipped in two days and was in hand two days later. The rifle seems to be well built just one small problem is that the button to release the folding stock is stiff but I believe with a little time that will self correct. Scope just arrived so haven't had time to zero it in will follow up with another review once that is accomplished.

Accurate rifle. Cheap factory rounds I was getting ~1 moa groups. Built up some sizing loads that produced a 5 shot group of ~0.3 moa. Viper vortex 5x25 ffp scope.

Great rifle. Super accurate straight out of the box! The magazine well/release latch was really tight. It took a few mags to loosen up a bit. PMAGs drop free easily now after 100rds in 10rd PMAGs. The accuracy was dead-on at 100yds. My groups were 1/2 MOA using Hornady 147gr ELD Match ammo. This rifle is heavy but it kind of needs to be for the purpose of extreme long distance shooting. The 6.5 CR is capable of reaching out to 1mi. I've only pushed this RPR 6.5 CR to 500yds & it smacks the gong everytime.
Really great service from Buds, as usual! The rifle came in great condition & Im definitely satisfied with my purchase!!!

If you’re Looking to get into the long range shooting game and don’t sing break the back, then this is the rifle for you. I’m not the best shooter but I’m still able to achieve sub MOA group at 100 yards.

The button on mine needed some oil and a bit of banging to connect the assemble.
Don't just try to bang it together like the manual says. If the button that unlocks it is stuck, you'll scuff up that portion.
Not a bad firearm. I'm new with scopes and still messing around with mine.

Very nice and accurate gun.
Very accurate- first time shooting off a railing I was getting groups under 1” at 100yd with many rounds passing through the same hole.
Low recoil - felt recoil on the shoulder is more of a light shove than a punch. Much less than expected for a gun with this much range.
Big and heavy. - not a gun you want to be carrying around for extended periods. Shooting off hand is difficult, bipod or some other kind of front end support highly recommended.
Loud- the muzzle break responsible for the light recoil makes this extremely loud. Hearing protection not optional. Your neighbors will also blame you for their soiled pants.

Fast shipping and great communication. Haven't yet had a chance to get out and out some rounds through it

Great rifle for the price point and accuracy out of the box. This rifle is a little heavy compared to similar rifles. The rifle seems well built, has an adjustable trigger, it uses other magazines that aren't propriety. Comes with a folding stock, that can be changed out easily with a rifle length buffer tube, etc. So for the price, I can spend extra money on glass and trade or sell this rifle later or keep it. No, it's not a $3000 PRS rifle, but to start with, it's great to learn on and grow into. It's capable of much further than I have fired, but I have shot 707 and 847 with 130gn Federal Target 6.5 Creedmor. I suggest if you are weight sensitive then go to a store and pick one up and feel the weight. But I feel it's a solid buy and have no regrets.

This is my second Ruger Precision rifle; I bought the .22LR a couple of years ago and was thoroughly impressed with both the quality and the value. The 6.5 Creedmoor, in my humble opinion, is a considerable step above...regardless of the caliber. Smooth trigger, easy breakdown and maintenance, and smooth “out-of-the-box” function are just a few of the notable highlights of the rifle. I outfitted the Precision with a Monstrum G3 6-24x50 scope, and after 10 or so rounds, my grouping was inside a “quarter” at 100 yards. I am also thankful that I discovered Buds Gun Shop, thank you Hickock45; both price and service are what sets Buds apart from other online firearms retailers. I will definitely test the financial limits of my marriage during future purchases. Thank you Buds Team!
