Great revolver and three calibers. Very accurate. I am able to shoot 3 inch groups at 21 feet. Cylinder swap is easy. Comes with 5 star clips for 9mm. It is heavy, but that completely tames recoil of even the hottest 357s. I enjoy shooting this.

The product is exactly what I was looking for as a hunting carry along. Peace of mind with the 357 caliber and fun everyday shooting with the 38. The extra 9mm cylinder is easy switch. Bud's service was top notch. Ordered the gun and had it delivered within 3 days.

This Taurus 692 is an excellent revolver. The ability to switch to 9mm for (now relatively cheaper, and definitely easier-to-get) practice is great, and it handles hotter .357 loads just fine too. The ribber grip is really comfortable, and there are aftermarket options available too. Typical rock-solid Taurus revolver quality to it. The cylinder switching mechanism is clever, and has no play in it. The quality and value well exceeds the $450 price tag.

This gun is literally a blast lol I have so much fun shooting it! It's comfortable, solid, straight, reliable and looks rad...what else you want in a revolver? Wish 38/357 easier to get or I'd shoot this thing lot more! Say what you want about the brand but I've never been disappointed in any of my taurus pistols! Nothing bad to say except I wish gun was shipped sooner. Once card goes thru, pull it off the shelf and ship it jeez

Screw with the Bull, get the Horns. 9mm wheel as an extra is nice, not exactly handy though. Probably a break in thing, and not used to moon clips- yet. The changeout between wheels is SUPER easy and quick. Not exactly refined or pretty. It IS sturdy. Fit is nice, everything moves smooth with tight tolerances. No rattles, no slop. Decent trigger in double or single. Flat black finish is good quality, should last forever if taken care of. Sights were right on but ARE adjustable. I like the grips. Some reviewers don't. MUCH better than wood or hard rubber. Cushy, conforming. Accurate at 60 ft, at least. NO regrets. Shhh... I bought another one of these today.... In stainless... I LIKE this revolver.... And it's actually fun to shoot.

Had to wait for this to come back in stock but once Bud's notified me I got it in the usual time
frame. Very accurate shooter from a table with pistol rest. One issue; every time i push
the button to swap cylinders on opposite side of frame a tiny screw loosens itself a tad
and I have to tighten it again to continue the swap cylinder process. Have notified
Taurus of this minor inconvenience so now we see if they have a fix or offer to repair it.
Not a big issue if I don't swap cylinders. Otherwise it seems to be a very good purchase.

I'm brand new to guns and shooting. I can tell that I'm going to have issues cleaning the outside surface of this gun just from the way my oily hands leave prints on it. BUt I bought it for last resort home defense so I could care less if it looks older than it really is. As for shooting it, it was extremely fun to shoot 38 special and 9 mm. The 357 kick back is a little unsettling. I was able to hit a paper target fairly accurately from 10 yards with .38 and 9mm bullets but not so much with the .357. It really is cool to have two cylinders that fit the same gun. Both cylinders turned well. Going to go back to the range in a week and put at least 20 from each of the three calibers through it.
