This is my first Taurus gun I was a little apprehensive but after putting a few hundred shells down range I found this to be a very fun gun to shoot and very accurate. I would purchase it again and I will Definitely purchase another taurus gun

First of all, Buds had easy ordering and fast shipping...as usual. I've enjoyed the 692 immensely. I have a 617, also. However, the 692 in quite superior. The 3" barrel and adjustable sights make sighting in a breeze. The quick change cylinder to 9mm makes the revolver so very versatile. The double action tripper pull is quite manageable. There only two negatives I can say about it. First, and this is just a Taurus "thing", the little piece of red tape on the front sight is pitiful! I've already taken it off and painted the indentation where the tape was with fluorescent green paint. Second, the Stellar moon clips for the 9mm are a waste. The first time I used then two had prongs to break off rendering them useless. Have purchased 10 TK Custom stainless steel moon clips as replacements and thrown the Stellar clips in the trash. With the TK moon clips and their moon clip loader, I'm going to use the 9mm cylinder as my main option. 9mm is cheap, has great defensive loadings, and are super fast on the reloading. Overall, if you're a snubby revolver fan, you'll love this one. Get ya one!

I bought this revolver after shying away from Taurus over the last few years. When I opened the box I was pleasantly surprised. This is a sturdy revolver. Maybe even over built. The finish is awesome and the mechanism for changing cylinders is ingenious. The double action trigger is a little heavy but very smooth. Single action is very good.I have not had the chance to shoot it yet but so far, I like what I see.

I love this gun. The duel interchangeable cylinders are very easy to switch out -going from 38 special & 357 to the 9 mm. I have been to range 4 times now with it shooting both 38/357 and 9 mm. 7 shot cylinders so maybe put 50 rounds in each cylinders - no issues at all. All the folks who I have let shoot it, have nothing but great things to say about it. I will note there is one issue with the stellar clips - easy to get the 9 mm ammo into the clips, but nearly impossible to get them out with out damaging the "stellar clips" I have been researching and apparently there is a issue with the clips - and that Taurus is addressing the issue, I will be calling to complain to Taurus on this matter. You can shot 9 mm without the clips - you might have to shake the revolver a bit to get the spent cartridges out. Things I like - The ported barrel and the hand grip are great at reducing the re-coil. The cylinders change out easily with a push of a button. So easy to clean and maintain. I don't need to tell most of you , but when shooting 357 magnums - Wow - that is a whole different beast. Great for home defenseThis would have been a 5 star review, if the issues weren't with the stellar clips.

Shoots very nicely in all 3 calibers. Trigger pull is high so bought a trigger spring kit. Works great.

Very nice gun shoots well with hardly felt recoil. The adjustable sights are nice with a couple turns its right on at 25yards with the 357/38 special ,the 9mms seems to shoot 2 inches low for some reason left to right is right on could be me but a hundred rounds later the same results. The trigger pull is a little heavy, but a heavy duty overbuilt very reliable gun all in all a pleasure to shoot you can bet your life on this gun

Have not yet shot the Item. The weight, grip design, dimensions were perfect for what I wanted. Exchanging the cylinders was fast, simple and no hassle. The moon clips on the 9mm exceeded my expectations, they were easy to load, ejected flawlessly. They held the cartridges better than I had thought. Unless there is some unforeseen mechanical issue it meets and exceeds expectations. When weather permits I will update after field tests.

Bud%u2019s service and delivery were great. No issues. The Taurus 692 is a blast to shoot. The porting reduces recoil tremendously - and it%u2019s cool to see fire shoot. Up like dragon%u2019s breath! Accuracy and reliability have been good. 357 prints about 1 inch above .38 specials and 9mm is about 1 inch below. I adjusted so 38 is dead on and can easily shoot all 3. The only issues are the cheap box Taurus packs in and I think the moon clips are a bit flimsy. This gun is a real shooter and has become one of my favorites.

This gun is a tank i love it. This gun feels awesome. Some people complain about the grip. Dont listen. To them every thing on this gun is great. Switching cylinders is so easy. I’m shooting this gun at 25 and 50 yards on 8 and 12 inch steel targets no problem ,sights are excellent very well built accurate gun. Taurus has a real winner, trigger is excellent some reviewers say it’s heavy seems to be just as good as some of my newer smiths and Ruger revolvers, you won’t be disappointed with this one. Also you can fire 9mm with no moon clips if you want ,cartridges fall out nice!

So far I really like this revolver. It's nice to have the 3 most popular handgun calibers in the world available in one gun. The fit and finish are good, the finish is really different, but I like it, the balance and feel are very good. Single or 2 handed, it shoots nice, with the single action trigger being light and crisp. I like the 'ribber' grip as far as how it conforms, but it moves my hand back from the trigger just a tad too much, which puts my finger in an uncomfortable position for double action, and causes me to not let the trigger go all the way and reset about 30% of the time, but that's on my hand and the grip not being perfectly sized for one another. So I'm looking for a nice wood grip for this, with an exposed backstrap, anyone know where there is one? The double action pull is somewhat rough, but I never had a revolver out of the box that wasn't, we will see as I loosen it up more. Overall, I am very pleased, and would recommend this over many other more expensive revolvers.
