This base was a life saver. I had tried several combinations of rings and bases on my Savage Bearhunter in 375 Ruger using a Zeiss scope and couldn't get the proper eye relief because of the scope dimensions. I really wanted to use this rifle and scope combination for and upcoming trip to Africa. I found this base on Bud's webpage and ordered it along with a set of Warne rings and with the amount of adjustment provided by this base I was in business. Finish on the base was great. It fit the rifle perfectly and came with the proper mounting screws. Couldn't be happier. Dealing with Bud's was great as usual.
