Purchased for. Use in Cowboy action shooting. Fun gun to shoot and work up hand loads for. Very accurate with hand loads particularly. Well made fit of parts is good. Very satisfied.

I have not shot this pistol yet but it's beautiful. It's tight, the cylinder is kinda stiff, the ejector rod, also, etc. Brand new revolver so I'm sure it will wear in great and loosen up as expected. Very happy with the aesthetics. A bucket list item!

Bud's purchase was quick and easy. 1872 open top arrived in perfect condition. Bought the Cimarron as they get first pick in house at Uberti in Italy. My FFL was already in Bud's system even though I'm in a mountain town. No complaints, looking forward to next purchase.

The pistol was beautiful and looks to be well made.while shooting it the first time I had an issue with it not rotating the cylinder when you pulled the hammer back for the next shot i%u2019m hoping this is just due to being new and very tight. Still I%u2019m pleased with the pistol. Thank you.

Beautifully made revolver and with the Army grip it's a natural pointer. Mine has been terrific out of the box with no action work needed. My only gripe is with the sights, very small and the front is too low but heck this is not a target gun, it's for close in and quick shooting.
Given the open top frame I do favor light bullets at moderate velocity. It will handle 250 grainers but I stick with 185 to 200 at about 775 fps.

I received the Cimarron Open Top Army Colt 1872 revolver this morning. The shipping from Bud's was superb; I received it in 2 days after ordering. Thanks Bud's!!!!
The revolver is superb in fit and finish and really feels good in the hand. After cleaning the shipping oil, I did clean and lubricate the revolver. The Actions was nice, but a little light grease did make a difference in the feel of the action when cocking. The trigger pull is excellent. I certainly can recommend this revolver if you like the Old Style Colt cartridge revolver. The other good part is this revolver can be shot where as the real Colt is a .44 Rimfire and that ammo is very difficult to find. I can shoot this one anytime!!!

I love shooting this gun.You would think with these sights it would not be accurate but that is not the case,it is a natural pointer and shoots really nice .Loves my reloads.and looks great too.
