Amazing replica with Uberti expertise apparent in every feature. I couldn't be happier with the finish, the trigger, the balance, and the smooth gearing for the cylinder. This one belongs in your safe and in your rotation at the range.

New gun received 5/25/21
First, _not_ “four clicks”. I’m told if that is important to you it’s just a matter of changing the hammer (I don’t know the skill level required to do that, ie is it drop in or gunsmith work). I personally don’t have a preference either way, so I’m leaving it.
Second, _not_ a transfer bar. Somehow the firing pin retracts into the hammer if the trigger isn’t pulled as it moves past half-cock. No, I don’t know how it works. Yes, I intend to learn. With this feature it _should_ be safe to carry fully loaded. This isn’t really a carry gun for me, though, so again I don’t care either way.
Finish is perfect. Looks amazing and not a blemish anywhere. I usually immediately replace factory wood with something nicer - not this time. It’s not “fancy”, but it is really nice European walnut with a great finish on it.
Fit is perfect. My FFL’s first comment was “that’s a really tight gun”. Not the youngster slang ‘tight’ (well, that too I suppose), but well fitted together and free of rattle. Every click is definite. The trigger is amazing. I did a quick “field strip” and wipe down and she came apart and went back together smoothly.
Cimarron tells me that a conversion cylinder for .45acp is a thing that exists, but is currently out of stock and not expected until at least fall. Since I’m normally a 1911 guy I’ll be getting that - I have a good stash of .45acp. .45 Colt/Long Colt is a bit hard to find right now in my area so I won’t be shooting it for a while.

This is a nice looking pistol but as Luis D pointed out it is not a 4 click action. I have a Cimarron 4 click to compare it to and the first click is missing. Based on an email I received from Cimarron quite a while back I thought all the model P's were going to remain 4 click models but apparently not. If you want a 4 click look at the MP51X series. Once I get the preservative removed I'm looking forward to seeing if it shoots as well as my other Cimarron's.

Beautiful firearm. Well constructed and finished. Heavier than I thought it would be, I can not wait to take it out on the range and fire it

First time buyer with Buds. I am very happy. Buds service was excellent!!. I did not have any problems during any part of the whole process. The revolver arrived when it should, perfectly packed and safe. The weapon is in prefect condition without any type of scratch. The only observation I have is that the revolver doesn't have the 4 clicks (COLT). The revolver is beautiful, do not get me wrong, but I expected the 4 clicks. What I want to say if this is a must for you, don't count with that. Again I am very happy. The FFL dealer, Gunshine Arms in Boca Raton offers a spectacular service. Nick, the owner, is always aware of your requirements and as soon as he received the merchandise he immediately notified you. I congratulate Buds on its service and Gunshine as FFL Dealer. I am very satisfied.

I have a lot of firearms, and I bought this pistol just for the fun of. Buds did a great job getting it to my FFL. It’s a beautiful revolver. The blueing and case hardening are very attractive. With about 200 rounds through it, when I went to clean it, I couldn’t get the cylinder retaining pin to extract from the cylinder. I used pliers to get it out, wearing out the bluing on the pin. I emailed Cimarron per their instructions. Got a response right away. Guy on the other end said he’d send me a return authorization number. I never heard from him again, so I could not send the pistol in. I fixed it myself with some lapping compound. About 500 rounds in, the cylinder was sticky. It was very hard to cock the hammer back. Took the action apart, cleaned it up, went shooting again. About 800 rounds in, the cylinder won’t rotate at all. The cylinder retaining pin comes out easily, though. That’s a good thing because the revolver spends more time apart than assembled at this point. I can not recommend this revolver if you’re going to actually shoot it. If you like to display a revolver, or just like to play with one without shooting it, this revolver might work for you. But if you actually shoot, and experience trouble, I think you’ll be stuck with a bag of parts.

Buds layaway couldn’t have been easier. Very nice looking gun. Fit and finish are beautiful. Haven’t shot it yet but am looking forward. Locks up tight and trigger is nice and crisp.

The Fit and Finish are great. It really is a nice looking piece of hardware. The Action is smooth and the Cylinder Lock-Up is tight. Yes, it's covered in Goo.Tthat's what I would expect from a firearm that is being stored and awaiting shipment. Yes, the Trigger is light. It's how it should be on a Single Action Revolver. It is also decently crisp. I have over 200 rounds through it at this point. It is hitting "as sighted" with rounds running at "original" speeds. Also... the transaction, shipping & receipt of the piece was flawless.

A:yes it can be converted if you can get the 45 acp cylinder. you will need to check timing/ cylinder alignment and may need fitting. I would contact Cimarron about the cylinder PHONESee 1 more answer |
