Scott, That was a very limited run that had the front serrations on slide. This Gen 5 G26 US made model does not have front slide serrations.

The glock I got has a USA stamp on the side instead of Austria. I really wish they would of showed that the gun i was getting wasn't manufactured over seas im disappointed about it.

George, Check model number. U models made in USA. P models made in Austria. BUDs is not in the education business. The USA made guns are made exactly with same procedures and materials as the P models. Gen 5 G 26 model is only being made in USA. No production of Gen 5 G 26 in Austria.

UA= USA PA= Austrian other that that the guns are equal in quality and both are great shooters

George, you are right, Buds should clearly mark the Country of Manufacture on their firearms listings. Glock with model #'s starting with U* are US made and P* are made in Austria.

Charles, for all the misinformation that comes from BUDs community members attempts at being accurate. No "fixed sights" with Glock. Rear is always dovetailed in to drift for wind-age. "FS" means factory sights. They are polymer and post front with dot and goal post rear.

Great little firearm. I was late jumping on the Glock bandwagon but since I did I can't think of anything I'd change on this handgun other than the sights, I'm sure Mr HICKOK45 could shoot better with NO sights than I could with the best available sights out there. In any case I changed the sights right out of the box to the Ameriglo I-DOT sights and that was all it needed IMHO. Its fun to shot and its ultra reliable so I can't ask for anything more, nuff said

It's everything you'd expect from Glock. Only 4 stars bc without investing in magazine extenders it's nearly impossible for anyone with average or larger hand sizes. To me they should have at least 2 that come with the firearm. Other than that, once you get the grip extenders installed, it's a great shooter so far.

This is my first experience buying a hand gun online from Bud's. After watching Hickok45 Youtube vids for years I wanted to try an support Bud's for all their support they have gave him.
