  A:

  The slide was easier to rack compared to a M&P shield pistol. However, the easiest to rack pistol is the S&W M&P SHIELD EZ series. The EZ series is design for those with arthritic hands. I hope this helps!

  It is not CA compliant as it is not present on the CA roster of handguns certified for sale. At one point several versions of the G2 were on the roster but expired.   James, When thinking about a shoulder rig. Do you want horizontal or vertical carry. I got an inexpensive UTG horizontal universal shoulder rig (now discontinued) I love it. Carry Glock 20, P320 Carry, 1911s and compacts. I would check out an inexpensive rig before spending $200 on a Galco or Alien Gear. Always can upgrade when you know you like it.   Rodney - Unfortunately, lefties have always just pretty much had to adapt to right-handed-pistols. Some, like the Glocks, have no thumb safety to worry about, and now in the new generation have mag releases that can be reversed. Lefties have a much better time of shooting 'rightie' pistols than rifles for sure. Get yourself a Glock, or a decent 1911 with ambidextrous safety, and enjoy it!
