Rifle came in short time, shipped in perfect condition, from Buds. A bit of time at the range and it was zeroed in nicely for deer season. My second Savage rifle, and I will be buying more in the future. Great value for money.

I’ve been wanting an inexpensive 308 for a while and I chose this one because a friend has one and it seemed like a quality gun for the price. I would have preferred an axis 2 because the accu trigger is much better but I wanted stainless and couldn’t find one in the axis 2 model. I upgraded the scope and put an $80 rifle basix trigger in and it shoots as good as my much more expensive rifles. It’s actually pretty good as it came but I just preferred to do a couple of upgrades. Very pleased and it’s a quality gun for the money. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is that the stock trigger could use improvement. Buds was great and shipping was fast.
