The BEV Block (Barrel Extension Vise) is an all-in-one, compact vise block tool for AR15/M4 assembly operations of barrel nuts, flash hiders, etc. Mounts securely in a vise and provides support for both billet and forged upper receivers. Engages barrel extension with solid steel lugs and full-length support shank to prevent flexing. Steel hardness is optimized for durability yet won't damage barrel extension, and Magpul Polymer is used for all other engagement surfaces to protect aluminum receiver. O-ring post uses bolt carrier for additional stability and included Pin keeps upper in the proper position.

Yay!! It FINALLY came, after waiting WEEKS (and it was ALLEGEDLY in-stock). This will be my 2nd, as Bud's was so slow, I ordered a different one 3 weeks later and it arrived sooner than my Bud's order. Guess that tells me something. Product ROX! Retailer not so much...

Works great to hold the upper or lower receiver and to lick the barrel so can't rotate if needed.

Bought this to stabilize the uppers on my Sig 516s while changing muzzle devices for attaching my suppressors. Was amazed at how well it holds the uppers - solid as a rock, literally - and makes tightening / loosening the devices a piece of cake. Absolutely no slop when installed according to the instructions (be sure to use your bolt carrier and one of the included pins). Wish I had bought it sooner. Another 5 star product from Magpul.

Very useful upper / lower vise block. Used it for a 300 Blackout pistol build, worked perfectly. There is a little play when the upper is mounted, but the engagement with the barrel extension is very solid in the rotational axis, which is where the most strength is required. Overall, an essential tool for the AR enthusiast.

Very easy to use. After securing in the vise, I attached the upper per the instructions and was able to remove the old muzzle brake with no issues. Then I put the new brake on and tightened it down accordingly. Will be getting good use from this tool.
