What type of rail is this?

Michadl - this rifle has a "Permanent BCM Mod 1 Compensator for 16.1" Overall Barrel Length", which makes it legal as a rifle, and not subject to the Short Barrel Rifle tax stamp and extra paperwork. Just the normal background check and transfer by whichever FFL you select to have the rifle shipped to.

The Recce-14 meets or exceeds all my expectations. Weight, balance, and length are ideal. The fit is tight, and the finish is rugged. You can really see and feel the quality. You just ‘know’ this gun will run. I’ve only put about 60 rounds through it, while zeroing and trying different weights of ammo. In terms of accuracy, the 14.5” barrel prefers heavier bullets, easily managing small fist sized groups at 100 yds using an Eotech optic & 60 gr HPR. I’m looking forward to my next trip to the range and putting more rounds down range with this Gunfighter!

First BCM complete rifle and first purchase from Buds. Great shooting gun - quality parts and finish. Received rifle without issue, installed Magpul Pro sights (also from Buds) and quickly sighted it in. Flawless performance thus far with about 600 rounds fired. Would recommend BCM rifles and Budsgunshop.com to friends.
