Awesome service as expected! The rifle itself is remarkable. Great quality and workmanship. I did have a mix-up with my original FFL being able to accept a transfer, but Bud's was understanding and took care of the return shipping to send to another FFL. Can't wait for my next purchase!

This is a great rifle. It's not a fancy gun with lots of engraving and a slick, shiny finish. This rifle is strictly utilitarian in nature. In that respect, it is all business. The fit and finish is flawless. The M-Lock rails are light weight, straight, very strong and perfectly fit. The finish is uniform throughout the rifle with no light spots, dark spots, streaks, tool marks or handling scratches. Bravo Company's furniture is some of the best I have ever seen. It is very light weight, strong, perfectly proportional and there are no pieces that are just there for cosmetic purposes. Everything has function first designed into it from the start. The buttstock is very comfortable, affording a good cheek weld and aligning the eye to the place the sights / optics are mounted. The rifle came with a QD sling mount that attaches where ever you want to mount it (on the rail). Everything about this rifle is about function, reliability, durability and, like BCM states in their literature: These are life-saving tools. The rifle is very light, and balanced, weighing about 6 lbs straight from the box. While this is not a match rifle, it did exhibit very good accuracy from the first magazine shot through it, through the last time I took it shooting. It started with an average of 1 5/8" (group of five shots). It is now broken-in, with a little over 3200 rounds fired through it and an average of just a touch over 1" (five shot groups). This is using the IMI 77 grain Razor Core. The first ammo used was a mix of UMC 55 grain FMJ and Lake City 62 grain green tip. I was careful to break the barrel in properly from the start. This rifle runs and runs. I have had only 3 or 4 rounds fail to feed properly. This was early on in the break-in period and I believe it was due to a bad magazine spring in an old magazine. I keep this rifle reasonably clean and lubricated. I am predominately using BCM / Magpul G.I. magazines. This is a great rifle from a great company! I trust this rifle with my life, and my family's lives as well. That is not a statement I have made often about many other products.

Amazing freedom preserving tool. Trigger is crisp, virtually no "mush". The reset is quick. Kick back is at a minimum, making quick follow ups. Only thing I am going to change is the muzzle device. The fire ball when shooting factory muzzle is decent. It says "Over here China" but not bad if you're in a pinch. I am looking at the tri tip SurFire to answer the muzzle flash. Then any necessary accessories you want to add on. This rifle is built to battle. Durable, light, and tight down to the trigger. Train and learn the operation of your rifle. BCM is top of the line, don't let a muzzle flash add any negativity, that is an easy-to-manipulate device.

I used to swear by Colt for my AR-15 platform needs. However, It is my opinion that the current state of production quality with Colt has declined. I am not saying they are bad rifles. They are still quite good. But, I think for the cost you can get better weapons. The BCM Recce-16 model 750750 is well worth the 1,400 dollar price tag. It is quality through and through. Also, it shoots like a dream. BCM rifles are now my new favorites.
