The P320-M17 is a 9mm, striker-fired pistol and comes with two 17-round magazines. The pistol features a coyote-tan PVD coated stainless steel slide with the same optic cut as specified by the MHS contract, and black controls just like the pistols currently being shipped to the U.S. Army; it comes equipped with a SIGLITE front night sight and removable Night Sight rear plate.

Improvement over the M9 which I love as a Bullseye target gun. Excellent DA trigger. Very well made. A little big for concealed carry in my opinion. A very nice handgun.

I bought the M17 to have a version of the current military issued sidearm. Historically I'm a metal firearm guy however, I was extremely pleased to find the quality of this product. The versatility of the modular platform is outstanding. With quality craftsmanship and superior design to other plastic striker-fired guns out there it has been a fine addition to my gun safe. It indeed is a fighter's weapon with accuracy and field maintainability; easily cleaned and repaired with no special tools due to its modularity. The only real question is to get an external safety or not.

Love the way this gun shoots. I have 4 p320's. I did have to change the extractor though. I had multiple feed jams. After the simple change this gun is very smooth.
I did some research and this is somewhat common but it wont keep me from being a Sig fan .
