I love, love, love this gun. I don’t know a damn thing about weapons. This was my first rifle I ever bought. It shoots so smooth. Feels so great in my hands. I’m very happy with the reviews that I’ve read about it as well. They were a couple of very good ones on YouTube. People say that it is a good intro rifle. Some say that it’s higher than that. I really don’t care. My first gun ever was a Sigg Legion and I am addicted to this brand. It just feels very good in my hand and feels like high-quality product. I would absolutely recommend this. However consider this is from an amateur.
I may actually consider buying a second one for my wife. And if she doesn’t like it then I’ll have two!

I bought a Sig M400 Tread 4 weeks ago and i just noticed recently that rifle i got has different BCG which is M16 bolt compared to the normal Sig M400 tread which is for AR15 type Semi -Auto bolt. That's why i don't know if the quality ofthe one that i Received with my rifle is the same as the Quality of SIG BCG.

A fine AR for the money spent. Functions perfectly with the Magpul magazine supplied with the rifle. Not so much with surplus aluminum magazines. The Tread is accurate, giving me
1 1/2 inch groups at 100 yards with LC 55 grain ammunition. I would buy again.

Was waiting for notification from Bud's that my purchase had shipped when my new FFL called and said my Sig had arrived. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised. Fastest delivery yet.
Cleaned the weapon, installed a scope and took it to the range. Once I got the scope sighted the M400 was a solid performer. Nice trigger pull and balance. Went "BANG" every time I pulled the trigger. Can't wait to take it to the range again. At some point I plan to use the MLOK system to add a bipod.

I picked it up Sept 6th from my FFL. I had planned to purchase the skeletonized Handguard because the pictures and videos I've seen I didn't think I'd like the standard rail on it. I was definitely wrong. The pics do not do it justice online. The only other thing I really wanted to change was the SL- K Magpul stock on it for no other reason then I like the looks of the MOE Magpul stock better.. As far as the fit and finish on the gun I could not be happier. It is everything I was hoping for. I cannot leave a review over performance yet as I have yet to put one down range but I will most definitely update as soon as I do this upcoming Sunday. This is my fourth purchase from Buds GUNS and as always it has went over without any glitch. And the fastest shipping of any gun purchase online I have ever done. Buds will definitely remain my go to first online firearms location.

    NO, the "Sig M400 TREAD" does NOT have a Chrome Lined Barrel...This Rifle has a STAINLESS STEEL Barrel with a 1 in 8" Twist Rate which is one of the Best Barrel materials and Twist Rates when it comes to accuracy and performance.
