Absolutely no difference other than this ones Austria made and the others made in the USA. They are both gen 5 Glock 17, same barrel length, both have 3-17 round magazines, both are cut for optics, both have the same finish, same sights. So both identical except the country they were made. Ron, You re correct. The grip cut out was deemed to be uncomfortable to some shooters. Also was a issue in magazine insertion.
