Century website lists the receiver at 1/16" (or 1.6 mm) thickness.most AKs are 1mm thickness.Is this measurement accurate? AND if so,does this limit available stock adaptors and furniture.(I'm planning on buying a bone steel/CNC warrior steel folding stock,it comes in AKM 1mm trunnion fitmint and 1.6mm RPK trunnion fitting....thanx

yes you can change it to a polymer stock and forearm Buds will not exchange it you would need to buy the polymer set and change it yourself

Does the barrel have concentric threads? I have heard both yes and no.

Daniel, The barrel should have concentric threads. If someone says it is not they have a bad one. To check remove the bolt carrier, put a light in the receiver and look down the bore from the muzzle - all circles should be concentric. Century Arms ARMS VSKA 762X39 16.5 barrel has a concentric left hand 14x1 metric thread and is ready for a variety of muzzle devices.

Daniel, Install the attachment. Remove the bolt carrier, put a light in the receiver and look down the bore from the muzzle - all circles should be concentric. Muzzle brakes and flash hiders usually have significant clearance so it would have to be way off before it could influence bullet flight. I haven't heard of any AKs with original barrels having this problem.

Century Arms VSKA AK 47. Some people don’t like them. Some people really talk dirt about them. This is my third one, I like them. and I still have all three. I have put over 4000 rounds through it. Very, very minimal ware and the ware it does have is to be expected. I know Century Arms had issues in the past, but I believe Century Arms has fixed those issues. For a low budget AK, this is nice, shoots well and eats any Ammo I throw at it. This VSKA is low frills.. but it’s a bloody AK and I have no problems throwing to the ground or tossing it in the back of my pickup. When I’m ready to shoot.. it shoots. My friends snub their noes at it.. I throw it to the ground, pick it up and beat the rocks out and it shoots without an issue.. I tell them to do that with theirs.. Oh no.. they dare not.. I shoot my VSKA’s way more than my AK 103.. cause I enjoy shooting the VSKA more. What can I say, I think the VSKA is a good AK for the price.

I received this AK-47 today and after a good cleaning I drove to my local FOP 50 yard range to see what the VSKA could do. I only shot one full 30 rd clip but the rifle performed quite well. I had no issues with it what-so-ever and the gun was accurate right out of the box. The quality of manufacture is very good and much better than I thought it would be. It's very nice and it shoots quite well. Looks handsome too...I love the wood on it. As usual Bud's was fantastic. Great price and service. There is no better place to purchase you next firearm.

So far so good. Shot 140 rounds of wolf ammo through it without a single problem. Cycles smooth. A good AK for the price. Worked with 3 different brand magazines. Buds did a great job as well!
