Designed in the European style, the Lux has a hogback stock fashioned from Turkish walnut. With a cheekpiece and comb ideal for use with its crisp iron sights, this 457 is one classy plinker. Like all 457s, it has an 11mm dovetail for mounting optics and can be quickly and easily swapped to a different chambering with the addition of a second barrel set. One 5-round magazine is included. In addition to the receiver-mounted, push-to-fire safety, we chopped almost an inch of length from the action and slab-sided it to reduce its footprint and weight.

What can I say buying from buds is great. Prices are good and selection is great. Transfer was flawless. The gun is nice I ended up with a nice figured stock. Cannot go wrong with a cz rimfire. Grade A gun.

regarding question of removing the sight hood, one good way is to use a circlip plier to expand the hood. tape the tips so as not to scratch, insert pins inside of hood front opening, expand and slide hood off to the front. easy peesy.

CZ USA is known for the manufacture of high quality firearms, and my CZ 457 Lux is no exception. It's very accurate at least 50 yards. I paired it with a Leupold rimfire scope and a Harris bipod. And let me add the rifle is just beautiful, made with a stock of polished Turkish walnut. Yes, it's more expensive that a Ruger 10/22 but if you're looking for a high quality rimfire rifle, this is one to consider.

Very happy with my 457 Lux .22 LR. This is my first .22. Mainly bought for target practice and squirrels. The wood is beautiful and has good grip. Iron sights work well but I fitted a 2-7x32 rimfire scope which I feel is the best match for this firearm. Shoots very accurately even for a novice like me.

It's really difficult to out perform the CZ combination of high quality, old world craftsmanship, and reasonable prices. Best factory trigger on any .22LR rifle, nice wood, plenty accurate, and puts a smile on every shooters face thus far. The future is looking bright for CZ now, after their full purchase of Colt Firearms USA.

Great rifle! It works well with both steel and polymer mags. No issues feeding and the bolt is very smooth. It'll plink squirrels or steel targets all day long.

I purchased a CZ 457 Lux from Bud's in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic. My order was place on April 16, 2020 and received on April 20 at my local dealer. My first time ordering a firearm online. I gave this gun to my 12 year old grandson for his birthday. He loves it. It has been out of the box accurate with iron sights. The fit and finish is beautiful. It is the gun I wish someone had given me when I was 12. As a bolt action rifle I think it is safer than a semiauto or lever action with a tube mag. for new shooters. I have been so impressed I went out and won an on line auction for a CZ 457 Varmint MTR in .22 cal. Should be fun to shoot with my grandson.

Like all CZ firearms, this is a quality product at a bargain price. It has a nicely finished European style Turkish walnut stock with a cheekpiece and cut checkering; a hooded front sight and a tangent rear sight with detents for 25 to 200 meters; an 11 mm dovetail on the receiver to accept scope rings; a bolt rotation of 60° which allows for larger scope bell diameters with lower ring heights; a push-to-fire safety; a trigger adjustable for weight, creep and over-travel; and a longer 24.8 inch barrel. I would highly recommend this beautiful firearm.
