CZ 457 Lux .22 WMR 24.8" Barrel, Walnut Stock, 5+1 - Blue/Black, 24.8" Barrel, 5+1 Rounds, Wood, Walnut Stock

Could not be more disappointed. I have several CZ center fire and rim fire rifles. This 457 Lux has to be the worst produced. Stock is horrible - more of a ‘Hershey bar’ brown than walnut. Numerous imperfections, blemishes, and unfilled surface voids. Roughly finished. Poor workmanship. A wonder this got through quality control. Also the previous bolt handle has been replaced with what appears to be threaded rod with round knob threaded on the end. Trying to correct through CZ customer service. Always inspect your purchase before accepting.

Very nice bolt action rimfire rifle. High quality item that exceeds its price point. This CZ 457 22WMR will shoot into the size of a dime or less from a rest at 25yds with a Vortex scope. I took off the iron sights because of interference with the scope and am in the process of filling the holes with grub screws. (Beware, metric screws are required to do this correctly. ) Buyers of this rifle who eschew the iron sights should buy the slightly less expensive model that has no sights installed. CZ offers a 5 rnd magazine, but it is largely plastic. I bought a spare from CZ in Europe ($$). No regrets about this rifle purchase. I think you will love it a first sight.

Rounded out my collection 452, 455 and 457. Well made and finished. Feels slimmer and lighter. Have no fired it yet but I expect to be pleased.

The service was just a couple of days off their usual, in this times not bad at all. I like the wood on my model it’s deeply dark in the buttstock with the wood turning ever slight less darker towards the middle and front of the stock. Fit and finish superb, action pretty slick from get go overall very nice. With CCI ammo shoots just slightly left easily fixed but I still got Winchester ammo I wanna try. I also have the older 455 in .22 lr in Lux model couldn’t be happier with pair!

Quality from the word go . One of the best values in .22 rifles there is. I have nothing but praise for the gun I received. Of course other people's rifles will depend on luck of the draw so to speak, quality control before boxing and shipping, but my rifle is 100%.
