The 457 Match Target Rifle\'s match chamber is cut to the tightest specification that CIP will allow, meaning it will perform impressively well with top-tier ammo. The MTR\'s Turkish walnut stock is designed with ergonomics in mind, and its vertical grip has a comfortable palm swell and laser stippling for texture. A large, flat forend has dual QD studs for running a bipod and a sling, and wrap-around stippling gives much more grip for the forward hand. In addition to the receiver-mounted, push-to-fire safety, we chopped almost an inch of length from the action and slab-sided it to reduce its footprint and weight.

Great rifle! Great transaction! A little finicky as to what ammo it likes. Lapua Pistol King, Center-X, Midas + RWS R-50 etc

This rifle is an amazing deal at the price. Heavy, well suited to competition with an easily adjustable trigger and a great barrel.

I love this rifle. Before I bought this, a buddy of mine brought a CZ 452, American I think, to the range and I knew I wanted one too. I got online and googled CZ, which led to Bud's. I saw the 457 MTR was available, so I grabbed it. That was about two and a half years ago, just before the pandemic. I like the weight of the rifle, and love the walnut stock, although I'm not a big fan of the stippling type of engraving. I also wish the "Varmint MTR" and the other information hadn't been engraved in the wood. But I give it 5 stars despite this. It's very accurate, and I actually won a local Bench Rest competition the first time I entered (factory class). Beginner's luck! I put an Area 419 15moa rail on it and mounted a Weaver 46 power scope. The factory trigger is GREAT, but even better with a YoDave spring installed. Recently I put in a Timney trigger, but don't see much difference.

My CZ 457 MTR is having accuracy issues. Contacting CZ to see if this can be rectified. Buddy of mine has the same rifle his shoots great mine does not, I can swap my rifle with his, shooting the same ammo from one batch, his is spot on mine is throwing fliers consistently. Hope CZ will back up this product.

I have not shot the rifle yet, but the stock has some pretty nice wood on it and it was shipped pretty quickly. Bud's price are great also!

Buds is always fast and efficient in their ordering process, and I am very happy with this rifle. I purchased it to compete in factory class ARA benchrest competition and so far in practice it is a very accurate and easy shooting rifle.

This gun is a real tack driver. My first five shot group was dime sized. The trigger was nice with no creep or slack. I highly recommend this CZ 457 to anyone wanting a nice accurate rifle.

I researched this rifle extensively before purchase. It has definitely lived up to all of th positive reviews. Fit and finish are excellent. The only criticism I have is CZ lasered the serial number and logo on the bottom of the bolt. This leaves rough spall that needs to be stoned and polished. Extra magazines are very hard to find. I found 2 polymer magazines for a CZ 455 that work. As of this writing, there were no other I could find, even checking several European sources.
The majority of reviews show the rifle locked into a lead sled, with match ammo used. I've put 500 rounds of various types of ammo through the rifle, on a bipod with an 8-32 scope. At 50 yards, with most ammo, I managed quarter sized or smaller groups. It's definitely more accurate than I am. If you're considering this rifle, I can recommend it absolutely.
